Had a mocktail here with a friend and let me tell you: it wasn‘t good. We had the Iced Mint and another one with pinapple. When the drinks arrived I felt like I was at a kiddy birthday party. They were served with those firework-type of candles and a side of secondhand embarrassement from all the people around us. When the light show in our drinks was over and I was able to take a sip of the neon colored drink filled with two tonnes of ice, I was definitely not suprised that it tasted the way it looked: like crap with a hint of artificial sweeters. We left our half full drinks on the table and left with a sugar rush and disappointment. I am an adult and do not drink alcohol and that is why I ordered a mocktail. I really wish they‘d thought about that possibility and served me a decent non-kiddy drink like that. Felt like I was 10 years old drinking a sugary drink at the pool on a summer family vacation. Not the vibe I was going for 👍🏻

This has been the most absurd night of my life. Believe me when I tell you I was in the trenches, fighting for my life to get to this restaurant - and it was worth it. The metro was so crowded it took me ONE hour to get from one station to the next. When I finally made it here I was welcomed by the smile of an angel. We were served exquisite wine and honestly the most delicious cheese fondue I have ever tasted (and there have been a few). You think you’ve had the best cheese fondue of your life? Wrong. Think again. I did not know such tastes could exist. If there are two things I want you to take away from this it is to avoid the Paris metro on a saturday night at all cost and get your bottom to this restaurant ASAP

So this is a restaurant / a bar and the atmosphere is definitely not for a family dinner where you plan to talk with people. Music is too loud, tables are crammed and it's almost impossible to move around them or even to sit in all the chairs. We had to move our table to sit on the passage to the kitchen in order to utilise all the chairs. We had raclette and fondue and the food was good, but we didn't like the cocktails. We had to speak really loudly so we could hear each other. Overall I'd say go there for lunchtime it's probably less loud, but avoid dinner.

Went to this place to try fondue specifically after I read some reviews, praising it. Was rather disappointed by the overall experience. The restaurant was cold and felt more like a bar than somewhere you'd go to eat. Staff were trying to be friendly, but we had to ask for the bill three times in the end and it wasn't that busy. The food was quite mediocre and we had the unfortunate 'luck' of seeing inside the kitchen, where everyone was handling things with their bare hands after leaving the premises on multiple occasions to smoke outside... Not hygienic at all and it really put me off the food. In terms of the fondue itself, it was nice but I'd argue half of the portion is enough for 2 people. There were also too many potatoes included per person and the bread felt stale. Overall, I would unfortunately not recommend this place as it was a disappointment after many other pleasant food visits to other restaurants...

Loved the experience! I xemt with some friends yesterday, first to the bar part, then to the restaurant part.

The bar part is great, the music is tasteful and groovy, the cocktails are varied and at a great price, the staff is lovely. I got a rhum grog (because I was so cold haha) and the anesthesié (a rhume cocktail 😋) and I loved both!

The restaurant part is great too. I got a raclette (cheese that is heated up to get it to put on potatoes and charcuterie basically) and I am so happy about that!!! Best last minute decision to go eat there. We were lucky to get a table for 3. Only downside was that we had a table next to the door and one person on staff always forgot to close the door, I can tell you that because of the winter cold I didn't appreciate that.

But besides that lovely time at Le Valois! Would completely...
