This place looks rather unsuspecting and nonchalant from the outside and even the inside. It isn’t fancy and the “Pizza and pasta” sign on the outside as well as prices that were not bad in a touristy area drew us in. We dined here as tourists from the US and were treated very nicely. We didn’t have pizza but we did have pasta. The pasta dishes were arguably some of the best pasta dishes my partner and I have ever had. I got the penne with spicy tomato sauce (can’t remember the name) and it was terrific. I don’t think I’ve ever had true al dente pasta until eating that dish. The sauce was really amazing with fresh tomatoes and included olives though I do not prefer them and ate around them.
My partner had the bolognese lasagna, which was the lasagna of the day, and this was incredible too. As Americans, we are used to a more chunky and rigid lasagna but this was more soupy and nearly melt in your mouth. The sauce was more of a pink cream sauce which made for a lighter tasting dish and it was just phenomenal. The best lasagna either of us had ever had.
The sauce was so good in both dishes that we ordered bread after the pasta to finish up the remaining sauce. Overall, I would’ve paid more for pasta dishes of this caliber.
The service was very good and attentive also, the waiters were polite and friendly. They spoke English and French when they were able to.
Overall, I wish we were staying closer to Montmartre to go back and try other dishes here. We were so impressed with the pasta - would...

Read moreI came here with zero expectations, but now I want to shout from the rooftops about how insanely good their Italian food is! I'm actually glad this place isn't super popular yet (selfishly, because I don't want to wait in line!).
As a frequent traveler who visits Paris annually and has tried countless restaurants, I can confidently say this place serves the most enjoyable spaghetti I've ever had. To the owners: your food brought me pure joy, and I don't regret a single calorie!
I rarely write reviews, but this place compelled me to speak up. It proves that a great restaurant isn't just about marketing or fancy ambiance – it's about getting the flavors right and preparing food with genuine care and precision. The attention to detail in every dish was remarkable.
