We came from Versailles and we’re very hungry, so we saw this place and decided to eat there, there were 5 writers standing outside, we ordered sandwich with salmon and escargot, and one hamburger to share with salad and French fries, waited about 25 min, the second sandwich arrived with escargot, I smelled very fishy smell, well I thought it’s a salmon suppose to smell fish, they also brought bread, I cut a piece and it wasn’t fresh, all do we ask for a good freshly backed one and they said yes we’ll bring, not only it was cut in a different pieces they put it in the oven to cover that they old and I am assuming there were leftover pieces of bread they brought to us. And the last drop was when they brought the hamburger with old leftover french fries and old black color salad mix… I call one of the waiter and showed him old black salad leaves and told him that it is old same with bread and French fries, I was expecting him to take it back apologize and instead he started to telling me that it’s not old and it’s not leftovers, I said; I am not paying for this dish, and he just started to telling me : you should Come down, come down and took the plate, send the other guy with the check without that dish on the check; we still paid them the whole amount and just left without finding beer; to make story short; my recommendation will be : 1 Don’t go to that place 2 Don’t spandex your money on anybody’s leftovers 3 there are so many good places,...
Read moreA fabulous restaurant for casual lunch and dinner. I would rate it an A++ for a true feeling for a French Brassiere. The outdoor dining was full of young people and with plenty of tables indoors too. We went at 6:00 pm and entire area was full of Parisians who left work and meet their friends. Our waiter couldn’t not be friendly or helpful. We were going to order a salad and a dinner. After my wife ordered the Parisian salad, he said stop that is all you need. I ordered a salad too and it was plenty of food. The wine was very good and very reasonable. It was great and I would highly recommend it. We got the name from a list from our tour guide. It was 8 minutes from our hotel. Down a very fancy street with Rolex, Boss (formerly Huge Boss), Tiffany’s to name only a few recognizable names so it was in a very safe area. Pres Biden and the entire White House was staying close by, so armed police in twos and threes were everywhere around us too. Not far from the Ritz, If you want to try casual French dining at a reasonable price, here it is....
Read moreWe found this little spot on Google and looking for places that have a good rating. The service in Paris, France is above and beyond! Our server was nice, attentive without being to over attentive, fast, and amazing all around. The food was good, not what I expected in some ways. I like the plates they choice but my steak should have been presented on a larger plate with the salad on the side. My dish came with a sauce that I wanted to pour over my meat but couldn't because of the plate it was on, see picture. Steak was cooked very good med-rare like I asked. We had the escargot for a app, I didn't care for them that much, hard to get out of the shell and a couple you could not get out of the shell. Wife had the burger which looked really good. Give it a try defiantly not a bad place to dine at in Paris. One warning if you do not smoke, most people in Paris still do smoke a lot and you can not escape the smell. Eat...
