Exactly the hotel we needed! ||Very clean, simple rooms with a view of a mostly-quiet Parisian street. (There was some construction across the street when we visited but that can't really be helped!) The lobby has been updated to have a more modern look than some of the older pictures show, very clean with bold colors! ||The rooms are similarly simply outfitted, bright and clean with big windows looking out into the street. We had a double room which came with an extra bed. There was no closet/bureau but between the shelving and the clothes rail that wasn't an issue. The bathroom was smallish by American standards but serviceable (both of us could get in there to brush our teeth together for instance) with plenty of towels and the expected amenities, as well as a glass door so that the footed tub could also be used as a shower stall.||Nearly everything we hoped to visit was within easy walking distance - the Louvre, the Marais district, the Tuileries, the Musee d'Orsay. The Galleries Lafayette and the Opera Garnier were a very quick walk away - less than ten minutes, essentially down the block! Montmartre was a longer walk, but still manageable for us even in the unseasonably warm weather. We only really needed to take the metro once, to Montparnasse tower! (The metro is great but walking was even better!)||There were more places to eat and shop nearby than we could manage to get to, but Joseph (boulangerie) and Noir (coffee) were some of our favorites!||We did not pay for the breakfast but managed to grab a couple of leftover pain au chocolate and croissants later on in the day and they were very tasty! The lobby seating area was again very clean and convenient, we traveled with a group and it was a perfect place for everyone to meet up before heading out (or to play a quick hand of cards before leaving on our last day)! Nice cold water to refill our bottles was a nice plus too, especially with the hot weather!||Everyone we spoke with that worked at the Korner Louvre was extremely helpful and kind and clearly cared about their work and the hotel in general. I would absolutely recommend this hotel if you're looking for something convenient, clean, modern and no-fuss! Thanks so much for our...
Read moreIf you’re expecting 5-star facilities and service this probably isn’t the place for you. However, if you’re looking for a quiet, no fuss hotel which is clean, friendly and provides all the basic necessities at the best price I could find in this popular area then on my experience it’s worth a try and the price beat most of the AirB&Bs too.|We stayed in one of the twin rooms which features in a few of the main photos here. The room gave us plenty of space and the bathroom was sufficient though the weird setup of a shower curtain round the small raised shower unit with no edge did little to stop water flowing across the floor (not hugely and it didn’t bother us).|The air-conditioning was brilliant and with 35c outside it needed to be. Top marks for that.|Breakfast was self service and provided pastries, cereals, eggs, breads and a fridge with cheese, ham and plenty of cool juices and yoghurts. Also tea and coffee from a pretty decent machine and another machine with ice-cold water. Another great point was that the fridge items and the drinks were there day so we were able to dip in when returning to the hotel to top up water bottles or with with a hot/cold drink downstairs.|After checkout we were able to leave our bag whilst we spent a final day in the city and when we returned later in the afternoon, the staff were more than happy for us to have a final drink, top up our wattle bottles and rest a while before we finally moved on.|I’m used to 4+ star hotels and no it isn’t up to those standards but using this one as a base for a few days in Paris proved a great experience for me and my daughter.|Well done...
Read moreSo I want to tell you important thing. I stayed 6 floor 2 twin bed room. I saw pictures and it was very reasonable price to stay (what I thought) such nice room. I saw pictures! But unfortunately I open the door it was totally different than picture! any way room is little bigger than I thought but bathroom… I think little functionally but I think not working for big body people. Because very small tiny bathroom ! Also someone mention about ikea! They only have ikea pipe shelving.I agree ! .looks very cheap . I stay a lot of New York hotel cheap and expensive. Small room and big room. This one is middle but bad way… if they have coffee maker or pot in a room they would be fine for this price??? . Also shower curtain had orange mold !! Very gross!! Need to change! Also elevator not working. Many hours waking and eat and drink at night I came back to hotel elevator wasn’t work! I was so mad! Next morning ask to change room or refund. They said no room and no refund. But they will fix afternoon. So I trusted and they did. And 1 more. Someone mention breakfast 2024 was 7 euro per person . We didn’t know. My husband thought all inclusive but next morning they asked us we didn’t pay breakfast and we have to pay so total 2 breakfast Means 15 euro per person a 1 day . We stayed 2 night so we got 4 breakfast for 60 ?? It’s just little bread and ham and juice. I really recommend not...
