Customers are welcomed by an inebriating smell, and chocolates look like little works of art. However we were deeply disappointed by the hot chocolate to go for two reasons. And being used to Swiss chocolate and thick Italian chocolate too, we had expectations. Firstly, the consistency was very floury. We don’t know if it was dark cocoa mixed with water rather than milk (no indications were given). It came so hot that we were able to catch the taste truly towards the end of the paper glass. It just didn’t taste right. Secondly, the price. Not even in Switzerland you spend 7 € for a hot chocolate to go (excluding Starbucks). Of course, we were at the Opera. We can imagine that their marketing works (they simply display a picture outside of the shop inviting people to try their chocolate “ready in one minute”, and of course, you discover the salty bill only once inside. What truly made us realize it was not worthy, was the fact that in another chocolate place across the street hot chocolate was 3.50. We don’t recommend it because it was strange. We don’t want to judge their chocolates - perhaps they are delicious! But we don’t feel the need to give away money in this place.
*answering to the shop, as I noticed I can’t otherwise.
Calling you a scam was not my intention and I edited this not to result offensive. But I did feel that the money of the chocolate was not worthy and this is a fact. I ended my original review saying that maybe your chocolates are delicious. Customers definitely feel the work of art you are producing and I for sure didn’t enter thinking it would have been a cheap deal (but the price did shock me). However, just because something is made with good quality products doesn’t mean it tastes great to every palate. Insinuating that because I don’t like your products I am used to something else of lower quality is not needed and false- but I understand that as a shop owner you took my critique quite seriously. Again, that chocolate tasted strange. And I can’t justify the high price. By not displaying the price outside you did a good marketing - this is what I meant. Still, I wish you every success for your...

The chocolates are like an adventure in a box. I adore chocolatiers that boldly experiment with flavour combinations and I was wowed with every bite today. Somehow, the freshness of each spice, each herb is preserved in the chocolate to perfection. The cucumber and juniper chocolate was amazingly balanced with a wonderfully fresh cucumber aroma. My favourite was the pine nut and lavender - again I have no idea how the floral essence can be captured so flawlessly but it was like biting a fresh flower. Each bite is a surprising delight!
Thank you for the mind...
