I went here within 7 hours of landing after a 9 hour flight. I was tired and hadn't slept but arriving in the city gave me exploration bug.
I walked in on a whim....this location was probably a good 20 minutes from where we were staying. It was my first time in a boulangerie. You're greeted in french... which standard in France... just say bonjour back to those that may have difficulty. We ordered the Formulae Express which includes coffee and croissant for 2.20 euro. Itâs reasonable price around this area where everything is so expensive.
We ordered one espresso, one Americano with 2 croissants as per the menu. However, when we returned to the hotel, there were some bread with chocolate in it. We were disappointed because we wanted to have croissant.
Anyway, we will try again tomorrow! Hopefully our communication will get better :)
Please note that the espresso is a single shot of espresso served in a tiny cup. Americano is a single shot of espresso with hot water served in a bigger cup. If you need latte like you would order it in U.S., you better order cappuccino which costs more. I donât see any Cafe Creme (coffee latte in U.S.) on their menu though.
Thank you Dr....
