We stayed in this area because our daughter is doing an internship in Paris. We really like the area, the 15th and 7th arrondissements. The receptionists were very welcoming and always had a smile with a greeting. We stayed in 102, facing the very small street. No noise. The room was small, but not a problem as we were out seeing Paris all day unless you come with very large suitcases and need to unpack a lot. The bathroom was small, yes, but everything was clean and functional. Only shampoo/shower gel in one, so bring conditioner if needed. No "extra" things in the bathroom. I guess there is an upgrade going on here and there. Most seem newly renovated. Some "tired" issues here and there. The carpet outside our door could do with a clean up. And another thing: Put felt under the chair legs! - it's really noisy when the chair is moved across the floor and it can also be heard from the other rooms. We never tried the breakfast. The larger street just around the corner is full of cafes with "formules" which are breakfast menus. That said, the breakfast looked nice in a nice area. The price of the hotel was too high for the value. We paid dkr 7.800 which is about 1.050 euros for 4 nights. We think it might have been because of the tennis tournament. Great hotel, would stay there again - but expect a more "reasonable" price...
Read moreGreat location and nice hotel! This hotel is more like a B&B, smaller and more tight knit. We did not eat her ein the morning as it is right near (within 3-4 blocks of) two patisserie's making it convient to get authentic breakfast with many options. The metro is about a block and a half away, and there are many restaurants nearby. Being near the metro is great to get anywhere, but you can also walk to the Eiffel Tower in about 15 min so location wise you have options to get around. The room key is left at the desk so it cannot be lost, meaning you don't have to worry about carrying anything with you, great service and front desk is always asking how you are. My only complaint was that our sinks didn't drain well at all and just from the bubbles of washing my hands then brushing my teeth it overflowed and I had to clean the floor. Additionally, the shower that has a bath has a glass door that went about halway and swung to open, but because of where the shower head is and where the door ends, shower water gets all over the floor while you shower which is a bit of a safety hazard because the shower mat was soaking wet when I exited the shower (which is also a bit raised so you drop a bit to the floor) making it easy to slip. Otherwise, bathroom aside, I would recommend staying here. Felt safe...
Read moreThe location of the hotel is very good. The metro is 50 meters away, you can reach everywhere in Paris with the metro. The Eiffel Tower is a 15-minute walk away. There are enough bakeries, patisseries, markets, restaurants and cafes near the hotel. The hotel is small but cute and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Emma and Baha. The rooms are small but adequate, the beds and pillows are comfortable. The bathroom has all the essentials and a hair dryer. The room temperature is good. The hotel's breakfast looked good, it was 10 Euros but we preferred to eat outside. In general, it is a very good hotel in terms of its location, cleanliness, comfort, staff and price. Minus points for not refreshing the refreshments and changing the sheets daily. There is an elevator in the hotel but it is not used for the first floor, the stairs are very narrow and winding but the staff helped us carry our luggage. Thanks...
