We came here on December 26th 2024. An unpleasant man who barely said a word and evidently didn’t want to be there prepared our food. Everything looked pre-packaged and reheated. Meshuga is but yet another tourist trap in Paris, this glorious city of lights where eating anywhere but in Michelin-starred restaurants is bound to be disappointing. My mother unwrapping her sandwich, however, and revealing the very ungenerous portion of egg salad with three pieces of lettuce stuck in the middle is what triggered this review. Read moreThis place was such a great value! It’s a definite step up from your usual fast food. We were able to watch as all our food was made fresh. My kids loved their hot dogs with the fried onion bits and awesome fries. My mother-in-law and I appreciated the healthier options including a Caesar salad, coleslaw that was dressed with something mustard-y and not doused in mayo, and a tuna melt on yummy toast. Seating wasn’t stellar but you are right next to Jardin de Luxembourg and we just took it back to our hotel. Great prices, too! We’re American and I can tell you this was better than any American fast food...
Read moreI was unfortunately quite disappointed by the quality of the food. The hotdog was absolutely nothing special, and that price (8.5 euros) is ridiculous. The brioche bun was dry and not toasted, the sausage was rather tasteless. The Reuben sandwich (€15) was underwhelming, too. This time the bun was toasted, but it was still dry and bland, pastrami was very dry on the edges and not very tasty. The service was very friendly, and the location neat the park is nice, but the food itself is not worth the hype...
