after living one whole year in South Korea my expectation were very high. The food was good but the service was the worst, the oldest of the waiters mistreated us and made us feel so uncomfortable that we nearly wanted to leave. If the young Korean girl wasnât there we would have hated it. Moreover, as I said, after living one year in Korea I know how Korean cuisine works, and for the price and place I was excepting a whole other service. As simple as more ë°ì°Ź and that a 21⏠dish can be considered a normal portion of meat to share, of course we can well accept recommendations as âit is a portion for 1-2 people not 3 ( as we were )â INSTEAD of the old waiter saying super rudely that we ordered so little ( we spent 65⏠in 3 people, and it is our decision how much we are hungry and what or how much we want to eat) The old waiter after writing down what we wanted to eat said something mean to the other young waiters and the young Parisian waitress joked about it loudly and made a sign as if we didnât want to spend money, first of all we are there spending money, you are there working honey. Other than that the food was good but in these cases it obviously comes after the service. Poor service, very poor, ruined one of our few nights in Paris; when I took my friends from Venice from one night only to eat Korean food. The old waiter also started to remove all the dishes while we were still eating, didnât even finish to eat yet and both of my friends glasses and dishes were gone with this man that kept on walking by our table to check, and insisted on making us to order more. Also they 100% missed the whole korean vibe, that is about sharing all the food, their concept is decided already for everybody to buy one dish for each person, that doesnât make sense for korean food that is made for sharing again. If you only go for the food itâs good even if not good portion enough for the price. But good Also ììŁŒ 15⏠mah⊠anyways will never go back and will never recommend, sorry. Only sorry for the young ânewâ Korean waitress that was nice and smiley. Did a much better job...
Read moreHubby and I were so hungry at 5pm and we were craving korean food. Google search results for Korean restaurant "open now" were NONE, but only this place and one other place opened at 6pm. We drove past the other one and drove ~40 mins, parked right outside, killed some time in the car, and right at 6pm we fed the parking meter and walked in (door was unlocked).
The last thing I thought I'd hear was the words, "We're not open, we open at 7". I said, "But it says you open at 6pm" showing her google maps on my phone. She turns around to other staffs and says, "Who changed the time?" and continues to talk to them while doing her phone.
Dude, I don't care who changed or didn't change the times, all I wanted was a simple apology for the wrong information and get the heck outta there. But nope, never got it. While i was still standing there in disbelief (I was hangry), another team walked in saying "Wait, you're not open? But I even called!" I just shook my head and walked out.
The food might be good, but I won't ever go back...
