All the Classics (Baguette, Croissant, Pain au Chocolat, Pain au Raisin) are excellent and freshly prepared several times a day. The servers are friendly and quick and handle the morning and lunch rush hours very well. Not a brunch kind of place (too busy, no cosy seating), but perfect for a short stop-in breakfast, as there are a few small tables, the cappuccino is good and they press fresh orange juice every morning. Was lucky to get to stay in wonderful Paris and this was the first of many bakeries I visited during my stay. Unfortunately, it was also the worst. I love pastries so I wouldn't even leave a bad review, but on top of being the worst items I tried during my trip, the service was awful. I went to so many bakeries and only at this one did I get laughed at, scoffed at and received poor service from the employees. They seem to really dislike tourists. DELICIOUS bakery!!!! They had bread of all kinds to purchase, along with savoury and sweet pastries - all of which are made fresh on site throughout the day. The pastries are MASSIVE and excellent value for money - especially in the centre of Paris! The staff were extremely accommodating and patient considering our French is ropey at best. You can sit in, however there are only 2 tables and a breakfast bar, but these free up quite quickly. Would recommend purchasing from here to save quite a lot of money for...
