Pachamama — Restaurant in Paris

What a beautiful place!

I’m afraid I can’t say the same about the service! By the door, we were told to put our jackets in the coat check (2€ each) the lady didn’t have change for 20€ and asked us to get one of the barmen to come to her with change- not a good start! I was meeting family for a drink- they were already inside drinking- and was surprised to know that they didn’t have to check in their coats. We’ve ordered a couple of cocktails and I also asked the waiter what was the policy on bringing the coats inside; he took my order and said he couldn’t comment on the coats situation but it would get the manager to come talk to me.

It was not a busy night, a few tables were occupied on the ground floor, a couple of people by the counter and there was a good atmosphere.

While waiting for the cocktails, I was noticing new customers arriving, some with coats and some without, which didn’t make any sense!

Alas, we waited 30, THIRTY, minutes for our drinks to arrive.... we decided to grab our coats and leave as the family have had their drinks. We left first and the waiter then asked my brother if he was paying for the whole bill, meaning our never delivered drinks!!! My brother pointed to our empty table and the waiter said he couldn’t do “everything” by himself!

The manager never came to us, either!

By the time I left I was furious for wasting my time in a place with such poor service, and also thirsty! Ha!

To be honest I was incredibly disappointed after trying the night before and not getting in we tried again the next day and I got in. But the guard was super picky and definitely only let certain girls go in. But also be careful at night there are so many creepy men that will approach you and even boys will go up to you asking to try going in as a couple trust me do not do it they will continue doing it and I even saw a group of them group up and then start talking to girls and I guess a lot of people caught on that they eventually left also a man pretended to work for the club but he was actually not a worker and then when we tried to get reassurance of this we asked that security guard and he basically didn’t even care. Then this man followed us after we told him to back up and we thought going to the security guard would give us a bit of protection but no the guard basically told us that it’s not his problem! Security is trash because a lot of grown men are there and get too touchy and dj was trash and but a lot of American music and everyone was butchering the lyrics because obviously there are going to be international people but it made the e night boring because people would sing the 1-2 popular sentence of the song and then stay quiet also not a lot of people dance more people are just walking and moving up the stairs rather than dancing. Not worth it might as well go to silencio or Rex or...

I am giving a one-star review to Pachamama Club in Paris due to the shockingly rude and arrogant behavior of the security guards. They act as if they are far superior to their clients, treating us with disdain. When I first asked the front security if I could use the bathroom, I was abruptly denied. None of the staff seemed to speak a word of English, and they refused entry to my friend simply because he was wearing a tank top.

Desperate to gain entry, I returned with cash, hoping to buy a bottle and soften their miserable attitudes, but they continued to refuse us entry. Our friends were already inside the club, and we tried to enter with two guys. It quickly became clear that they only allow entry if you have girls with you, which is both discriminatory and unprofessional.

This club offers the worst service imaginable, and the security's behavior is absolutely disgraceful. It’s no wonder the place has such low ratings. Avoid this club at all costs if you expect to be treated with any semblance of respect.

P.S. It is completely understandable that my friend having to be worn a tank top is not acceptable at such clubs but when I wearing proper clothing tried to reenter upon calling back my girl friends from inside the club, I was still met with a disapproval from securities. The reply does not make sense to me at all. 1 male...
