Beautiful museum that you can visit with a stroller, our baby absolutely loved the moving images everywhere and we could let him roam in a museum (for once) ! The Éternel Mucha exhibition was stunning. Not only does it show Mucha's artworks, it gives them a brand new life with an actress posing as Sarah Bernhardt in her different roles for instance. At some point in the exhibition, you'll be given the opportunity to create your own Mucha inspired artwork. Sadly there's only 3 available stations. Compared to the atelier des lumières, this museum has descriptions throughout the walk, it's nice to read about the artist's life. I love the atelier des lumières for their digital rendering of famous artworks, I felt like the grand palais Immersif did it better. Éternel Mucha is definitely a must go in Paris.

I arrived at the museum at 6:08 PM, fully expecting to buy a ticket and enjoy at least part of the exhibit, especially since the museum is advertised as being open until 7 PM. However, I was told I could not purchase a ticket because entry is not allowed after 6 PM. This rule, I later found, is buried somewhere obscure on their website—not clearly stated when checking opening hours.

To make matters worse, it wasn’t even the ticket counter that closed, but security who shut down entry—something not mentioned anywhere. The whole situation felt unnecessarily rigid and frankly, quite rude. It’s unfortunate that a place meant to celebrate culture and history would turn visitors away in this way, especially when there’s still a full hour left before closing. A little more clarity—and hospitality—would...
