Paris Beaubourg — Restaurant in Paris

Worst experience ever ! My friends and I went to this cafe restaurant and had leftover beverages in our hands. We found an outdoor table and waited patiently for the server to take our order for some beer. But when the waiter arrived, he didn't greet us with even one simple word "bonjour", instead he gave us an extremely unfriendly gesture while rudely repeating "drink, drink, drink and fast" first in French and then in English. the waiter even had the audacity to look down on us with contempt and spew out "welcome to Paris" in a disgusting tone.

I couldn't believe what was happening until I realized it might be because of the drink we brought with us, which still didn't make any sense. I tried to explain that we were going to order something and asked him why he was doing this to us. Guess what happened, waiter rolled his eyes and left us hanging without a word. Then he came back, only to literally throw two menus onto our table and turn away without another word.

All three of us as Asians had lived in Paris for almost two years, but we never experienced such disgusting treatment in any restaurant. And if it was because of our drinks, there were countless other polite ways the waiter could have handled the situation.

I am still fuming with anger and regret not demanding an apology on the spot. We decided to leave after the waiter threw the menus on our table, cuz we still had plans for the rest of the day.

I usually don't bother writing negative reviews, but this was so outrageous that I had to speak up. Shame on this cafe restaurant and their disgusting service and attitude. I don't even expect any insincere apologies from this restaurant as they clearly have no respect...

I had an unpleasant experience at Paris Beaubourg due to poor service from the waiter who attended us. From the beginning, his attitude was quite cold. I understand that might be subjective, but I personally expect staff who work with the public to be friendly and create a pleasant experience, which was not the case here.

At the end of the meal, he offered us coffee, and we ordered one. Then, I tried to order a tiramisu. I don’t speak French, so my pronunciation may not have been perfect... he simply brought us the bill. I was surprised and felt a bit embarrassed for not making myself understood, so I told him again that I wanted a tiramisu. He gave me a disapproving look, showed clear annoyance, grabbed the card machine abruptly, and walked away.

I was shocked by how rude he was. I then told him I no longer wanted the dessert, but he ignored me completely, didn’t even turn around, and still added it to the bill. I got up to pay, and he spoke to me in an unpleasant tone (I didn’t understand what he said), and when I tried to tell him that his attitude was uncalled for, he continued being rude.

It was a very uncomfortable moment. I still don’t understand why ordering a simple dessert caused such a reaction. I was going to spend more, so what was the problem with bringing the dessert and printing a new bill?

I do not recommend Paris Beaubourg, at least not if this is the way customers are going...

I just had my breakfast at Paris Beaubourg restaurant and it was a wonderful experience. The menu has a great variety of options, all prepared to a high standard. From fresh pastries to delightful breakfast dishes, everything we tried was delicious.The highlight of our visit was the exceptional service. Our waiter, Mirwais, really looked after us. He was attentive, friendly, and ensured we had everything we needed. We were attempting to order in French, and when we encountered difficulties, Mirwais seamlessly switched to English to help us out. His excellent service truly enhanced our dining experience.Overall, Paris Beaubourg is a fantastic restaurant with great food and outstanding service.
