An upscale restaurant in an upscale neighborhood. Elegant but unfussy, warm and welcoming. Pasco’s strong points are the beautiful space, filled with light from the expanse of windows, and the excellent service. The food? Not very good.

The first course was the layered eggplant, which was completely mushy and soggy. Unpleasant. I took only a few bites.

The entrecôte of beef was okay, although overcooked — almost no pink! But the sauce was perfect.

The vegetable, a purée of squash, was a delight. Dessert was the spécialité de la maison, a large profiterole (cream puff) that the server strongly recommended. However, it was an ordinary cream puff (pâte à choux) with vanilla ice cream and warm chocolate sauce. Nice, but nothing to write home about. (At home, huge cream puffs filled with pastry cream are a common dessert.)

Wines: I had a Viognier with the starter and a Bordeaux with the main. Both were excellent and reasonably priced. Overall: an adequate meal. The wine was good but the food was disappointing, merely so-so, barely moyenne. The star of the show was the delightful...

Indulged in a solo dining experience at a charming French restaurant after a long voyage and day of meetings. Started with a lovely glass of Chablis which suited the entire menu well. The foie gras, presented in substantial proportions alongside thoughtfully paired pickled and fresh vegetables, was great (I was craving fois gras). Then I had the duck, which came with a deep sauce and wonderfully cooked French vegetables, the kind you’re hoping for when visiting France. Finally the chocolate moulleux cake, with fresh ice cream which was as delicious as you’d expect after the quality of the first two courses. I sheepishly finished nearly every bite of every dish. Merci to the staff for their kind and attentive service. Definitely...

Now re-opened under the direction of Guy Martin. Excellent "Modern French" fare, in surprisingly large portions! Interesting and fairly priced wine list. Top class, expert service. Overall deal - especially on the fixed-price menus - is fair for a smart location in a smart area. For our preference, at dinner, the outside terrace with its fine view of the Invalides dome, was a little too brightly lit, especially in a rather tranquil corner of Paris. But that's a small issue.

We've been back many times since that late 2020 review. This continues to be a truly excellent restaurant! Very good vegetarian...

Delicious food, excellent service, and nice atmosphere! I would recommend it to anyone. I had a starter, main dish, and dessert all of which were excellent. The servers were friendly and had great recommendations. I even had a chat with the head chef who was delightful! If you haven't made up your mind yet, EAT HERE!
