A taste of tradition in the heart of Paris

As soon as I walked into this classic Parisian restaurant, I was immediately transported to a bygone era. The ambiance and decor were charming and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive. The menu at Auberge Bressane Restaurant was full of classic French dishes, and I appreciated the attention to detail in each dish.

The only reason I didn't give this restaurant 5 stars was because some of the dishes were a bit overpriced. However, the quality of the food was exceptional, so I still think it's worth a visit.

I especially loved the traditional French onion soup and the escargots - they were cooked to perfection. The dessert menu was also impressive, with a variety of sweet treats to choose from. The wine list was extensive and offered a great selection of French wines.

What sets Auberge Bressane Restaurant apart from other French restaurants in Paris is the traditional feel of the place. It's like stepping back in time to experience authentic French cuisine in an authentic setting. The only thing I would suggest to improve is to offer more vegetarian and vegan options on the menu to cater to a wider audience.

Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Auberge Bressane Restaurant, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a traditional French dining experience in Paris. I am already looking forward to my next visit, and I hope to see more vegetarian options on the menu by then.

To the owners and staff of Auberge Bressane Restaurant, thank you for a lovely evening and for keeping the tradition of French cuisine...

If you're looking for an authentic French bistro experience in Paris, I highly recommend checking out Auberge Bressane. This charming little restaurant is a true gem, serving up some of the most delicious traditional French cuisine I've ever tasted.

One of the things that makes Auberge Bressane so special is its cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The decor is classic and timeless, with vintage posters, tiled floors, and a long wooden bar. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxed and casual meal with friends or family.

But what really sets Chez Georges apart is the quality of the food. The menu is full of classic French dishes, like escargot, steak frites, and coq au vin, all made with the freshest and most flavorful ingredients. Everything is cooked to perfection and served with care, making each dish a true delight.

The wine list at Auberge Bressane is also excellent, featuring a wide selection of French wines from different regions and grape varieties. The staff are knowledgeable and passionate about wine, and they're always happy to make recommendations or help you choose the perfect bottle to pair with your meal.

Overall, I highly recommend giving Auberge Bressane a try if you're in the mood for some delicious traditional French cuisine. It's a true hidden gem in the...

Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant wasn’t the greatest.

Firstly, we highly recommend making a dinner reservation; otherwise, you’ll have a long wait for a table.

When my partner and I were seated, we found ourselves extremely close to our neighbors. The person seated inside had no way to get in and out without moving the table, which was very inconvenient and uncomfortable. It was also difficult to get the staff’s attention as they were extremely busy, and when we did, the service felt very rushed.

Food-wise, the escargot and foie gras tasted nice but weren’t amazing or refined. The veal kidney dishes are certainly not for everyone, especially foreigners, so make sure you know what you’re getting. The French fries that came with the main dish were cold by the time they reached the table and soon became inedible. Their famous soufflé dessert, although light and fluffy, was too sweet for our liking, making us wonder why it's so popular.

Overall, we felt the experience wasn’t worth the price. If you do decide to go, make sure to make a reservation, specify your seating requirements, and be prepared for a busy and noisy environment, especially at dinner. Oh, and unless you’re willing to pay €8 for a bottle of still water, just ask...
