Woah. I cannot say enough good things about this bistro. The food was incredible. Hands down, the best food we have had in our visits to Paris. The service was impeccable, the wine pairings were excellent, each dish was unique and delicious. The chef is creative and made wonderful dishes. I would absolutely visit again and will recommend to friends. They had an English menu as well, and were very helpful and attentive, but not overbearing. Perfect for anyone. I completely recommend the set menu dinner. We had foie gras, the soup with mushroom and lentil, the veal, the squid ink risotto, the soufflé and the cheese dish. As well as some lucky gifts from the chef. Each was impressive and had its own unique profile, and each expertly paired with wine. A MUST visit!! It is a bit off the beaten path, but that means it is peaceful, authentic, and full of genuine talent and French cuisine. The interior is clean and beautiful. We...

We visited the restaurant at 7:30 PM with guests from Japan. It was quiet and very calm, with only a few other customers. A Japanese menu was available, so even those who don’t speak French could choose with ease. We had a small child with us, and they offered apple juice, making it a place where people of all ages can enjoy a meal together. The menu is authentic and great for tourists, and the restaurant is clean and well-kept. It’s located near the Eiffel Tower in a safe area, so I highly...

Very disappointing meal and experience here. Bread wasn't fresh, butter was cold, first course wasn't seasoned enough (very bland and lacking salt) and main course was overly salted. My risotto was in fact too salty to even finish (and I love salty). Oh, and my order was screwed up.

Whatever is going on here is profound as the current meals don't match those described in the many good reviews (WSJ, Paris by Mouth).

Skip and just get some stuff at the market and...

Basque-influenced French food, just excellent. Great location, 1 one minute walk from the main street so casual diners get weeded out. Friendly, even entertaining service, and a menu with diverse paths to a real meal. I had a beautiful terrine followed by half a lobster, both creative and satisfying preparations--a rare combination. Go go go.

This place is so charming. The food was exquisite and the staff felt like family serving us. Note that the tasting menu is a must (especially if you are new to Basque cuisine) but the portions are a bit too much so unless you have a truest incredible appetite I would opt for one of the smaller tastings. Wine pairing is a solid bonus.
