Petite Forêt — Restaurant in Paris

There's no other place like Petite Forêt in Paris. Kids and families are not only welcome but it's a paradise, especially made for them. You can enjoy a hot (!) drink and a cake with delicious berries while the little ones play with the many beautiful and high quality, wooden toys, books etc. There're several stokke highchairs with different seats (yes, infant seats as well!) to make it more comfortable for everyone, playmat for the littlest, lots of space for the kiddos to play and move around, proper parking space for the pushchairs, delicious tea, coffee and cakes on the (expanding) menu, healthy snack and drinks for the children and honestly, I could just keep going on. The founders, Laura and Kaja are very kind and attentive who created the most amazing place for families. We really cannot say how much we enjoy Petite Foret enough. It is absolutely an oasis for families here in Paris. We love being able to have a place to sit and enjoy a coffee and a snack while chatting with other families and watching our son play in the open play area. He especially loves to play with the kitchen. Laura and Kaja are so warm and welcoming, having a cheerful smile for us, helpful toddler tips, and always engaging and playing with our son. Our son has also really enjoyed the various ateliers offered for his age including messy play (thank goodness I don’t have to clean this up!), music class and baby gym. The preparation for school atelier was particularly helpful for him as he started preschool this fall and it assisted in the transition. This is my favorite place in Paris to take my kids. Great coffee, beautifully curated gift shop (bought most of my Christmas presents there) and they not only have classes for kids but educational and self care programs for parents. The owners are delightful, young mothers themselves, who serve their clients with kindness and compassion and who you also find yourself wanting to be friends with!
