Pizzico — Restaurant in Paris

Be careful with the cashier, not sure if he’s the owner. But he scammed us. It was very late and the workers told us we could only take-out. As we were waiting for the food, my husband told me to pay so I went to go pay. We ordered a pizza, pasta, and a beer. It totaled to 34.50 Euros, however he charged me 27.50 Euros (only charging me Pizza and Pasta). I said cool, he must not be charging us for the drink. When the receipt came out, I asked him for the receipt three times, and he crumbled it. He didn’t say a word. He didn’t speak English so I just dropped it. As we were about to exit, he pointed at the cash register screen and he said we need to pay him 34.50 Euros. I said, “but I already paid.” I wouldn’t have minded paying for the drink, but of course I’m not going to want to pay for the pizza and pasta again! My husband was quick to pay the 34.50. As we were walking to our hotel, my husband was checking his bank account. There was the two transactions! We went back and the man denied everything. He had no memory that I had paid the first time. He couldn’t even lie about it and have said that he thought the transaction got denied. He messed up though cause the transaction said “Pizzico Paris FR”! He got customers involved by asking them to interpret and even they saw everything when we showed them our transaction history! I asked him to check the cameras, he said he could only check it for special circumstances. I got charged for 62 Euros. He takes advantage of tourists. Be careful. Check your bank account before they ask you...

Worst salad ever! Advertised as baby greens, coriander etc....what I got was just baby spinach...no coriander (which I really was looking forward to as I love coriander!). When I questioned the waitstaff, I was met with language barriers. I pointed out the advertised baby greens that I didn't get and the missing coriander. I requested fresh coriander only to be given an ambiguous oily sauce that turned out to be dill not coriander! Very disappointed. Staff didn't...

Mediocre in all ways. Pizza ok but oven not hot enough to cook effectively and topping with a spinach leaf or whatever it was rather than basil?! Weird. Aperol spritz poor and had some white stuff floating in it. Possibly from a slice of orange if it had been frozen?! If not, no idea what it was. Staff ok and on a busy road so not too much to recommend it but ok if you want a so-so...
