Toloache — Restaurant in Paris

Toloache is the new restaurant by Ivan Gejde, the successful organizer of the music organization La Pistola. If you don't know Ivan, go to Toloache and he will meet you. He is one of the most charming, friendly guys in Paris. That is one reason to go to Toloache. If you are lucky to meet him he will make you feel good immediately (it's his gift of charisma.) Another reason is it is Mexican food (need I say more? OK, well, Ivan is Mexican, so it is authentic.) The third reason is the space itself. It is a pretty Parisian cafe and eating Mexican food there feels like an anomaly. They have set up the downstairs area (which they named Plage de Montmartre- Montmartre Beach,) with more standard restaurant dining arrangements. In Plage de Montmartre they also have their art exhibitions on the walls. When I went the art was skate deck art. this place is so nice with a really nice environment. stuff there are so friendly and it seems they love their job. I had a nice time with my family we enjoyed with tasty food and very friendly people. they have a small live music place under, it is so nice as well. I totally recommend it if you want to meet nice people, to have a nice time and nice food at the same time. I will definitely come back when I will go to Paris again. At the end of our dinner, we went downstairs and we had a live show of reggae and Latino music it was wonderful...

I’m still in the restaurant as I write this. The food is excellent and very authentic and the cocktails are strong. I got my fill of French food the past few days so I decided to diverge and come here and will not regret the decision. I walked by the place earlier and couldn’t tell it was a restaurant but Google did not lead me astray. This place is a must visit if you are in the area of the Sacré-Cœur.
