My family and I were walking around near our hotel to figure out where to eat, and my mom had apparently always had great experiences with tiny middle eastern restaurants so we decided to go here.
I honestly didn’t have high expectations for this shop since the signs had menus that looked generic and it was relatively small but I was SO wrong. Firstly the staff were extremely welcoming and adjusted the fan so it was cooler for us. They sat us down with a jug of water which I actually found very odd for Paris - generally, it’s a little more irritating tk get a large amount of water. They took our order basically immediately and were very understanding of our food intolerances (we can’t eat beef) and the food was out within ten mins.
We all ordered some dish with chicken and lemme tell you it was the BEST THING I’ve tasted in Paris. It isn’t even French food or why we came but oh my god the seasoning and texture were ABSOLUTELY fantastic I usually have a lesser appetite when traveling but I picked food off my parents plates before my food came AND I finished it in like 5 mins. I wish I had a picture of the food but I genuinely didn’t realize I should until I ate the entire thing. On top of that, the food looked basically like the menu photos which I was not expecting AT ALL. It was just so so so good. Please eat here if your hotel is near I PROMISE you won’t be disapointed. If you have a spice intolerance, it won’t matter. The food wasn’t necessarily spicy, it was just flavored.
On top of that, this place was CHEAP. Like. Group of four well fed for 40 euros. Just. Insane.
Again staff was so friendly and so nice. Special shout out to the chef - I couldn’t catch his name but he was super joyful the entire time. The staff seemed genuinely excited to be...
Read moreSurely the kebab spot with the best vibes in Paris. Everything you want from a late-night kebab spot, price, taste, portions and absolute killer vibes from the guys running it. The guys recognise me after months between visits and the banter is always spot on. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, can even stop by with your bicycle and pick something up from the window.
My only regret is that life is finite and I can’t visit this place more often. If only I could fall in love with my cherie to the degree I fell in love here.
27/5 would recommend and give a kidney to let others experience this great joy in a city of chaos and fog.
Keep doing you, you beautiful kebab men...
Read moreThe food here is Great!!! I accidentally found this place on my way to canal de martin. I do not speak French and was very nervous on how to place an order. However, they were all very patient with me and getting my order right. The food and service are TERRIFIC!!! I returned the next day on my way to CDG and ordered almost the same dish. I do not eat rice but I enjoyed the rice here. The price is also very reasonable. I recommend this place and intend to visit if I'm ever back...
