Paris Diary | Not in Thailand, but Still Delicious Pad Thai Pork!

I came to Street Bangkok on a Thursday night. The dining area was pretty empty but the TO-Go orders for delivery were nonstop! I actually enjoyed the restaurant being calm. The tables are wobbly and the seats are uncomfortable but the atmosphere of the place is cool. I give them a high rating because of their food. The fried chicken sandwich is amazing! It’s got so much flavor! It’s now one of my top 5 chicken sandwiches in Paris! My husband got the sandwich extra spicy and it was definitely spicy! Don’t get it if you can’t handle heat! The fries are also really good! They have a nice spice mix served with a garlic yogurt sauce. It’s tangy and flavorful! I loved it! Last but not least YOU must try the ginger lemonade. It’s so delicious made with fresh ginger. It’s so refreshing and goes perfectly with the spicy mess. I also tried the noodles with tofu and they were good as well. I prefer the chicken sandwich though. I enjoyed this meal so much and will definitely go back!

The reviews are conflicting but most negative reviews are about takeaway- I highly recommend this place to eat in. I’ve travelled Thailand and been in Bangkok and they got the tastes / lemonade spot on. Tasted very authentic. The best crispy chicken burger I’ve had in a long time. Unfortunately I found the chairs to be uncomfortable, I reckon if they got better couches/chairs you could manage to sit in for longer but maybe that’s the whole point. Eat and go. You also have to use phone to scan a barcode to see the menu. Highly recommend if you want chicken 🍗

I was really eager to try this place out but I was a bit disappointed. Our total came out to 51€ for two chicken sandwiches two sides and two drinks. We ordered the calamari which was good but a bit over fried that came with a tamarind tasting sauce, and the chicken burger was good but extremely oily and it had more crust than chicken. The crust was really crunchy though so I give it a thumbs up for that. The flavor was there, but I wouldn't order it again for the price, I do feel it was over priced. The chicken sandwich itself was 12€. The pad Thai was 18€ (did not order but I wanted to and chose the chicken because it was cheaper). The restaurant inside was really cool and trendy and it seemed that the cooks took proper hygiene measures all using gloves, hairnets, and masks which I totally appreciate. The menu was really small with the chicken sandwich being the only burger, chicken and tofu pad thai, general TSO chicken, and i believe they had two...
