I'm updating my initial 5* review based on the after sale communication and experience that was not satisfactory and actually disappointing for me. I engaged with Masion Artaner for a sur-measure engagement ring project because i wanted a special and unique ring crafted for my fiancée (something that you cannot find on a shelf or in an existing collection). All of the design, preparatory steps went very well: i chose the shape (proposed by Artaner and adjusted together for unique style), stone, color of the stone and metal and production was on time and of a very good quality (production is 5* indeed). Ring came out splendid and was used for engagement.

What i didn't expect is what happened later: this unique ring (exactly the photo and video of my ring with stone, color etc.) was put on the site of Artaner and promoted as part of their collection with a name of the ring that has nothing to do with what was project about. Ring was heavily promoted on social networks (facebook and insta), so my fiancée and all her friends received the advertisement of her ring daily on their phone (with the price disclosed - that i did not want to be shared). Imagine your fiancée receiving the promo of her own (unique, sur measure) ring on the phone daily (the exact photo)? super annoying...during the project i was never informed that it will go this way after sale and was sure that my project will stay unique and private. if I knew that it will "become" part of the collection this way, I would not engage in this project. It could have been at least mentioned on the site that this is a sur-measure ring, but no. i contacted Artaner to sort this issue out and after 1h on the phone (not most enjoyable experience) i was reassured that this situation will be fixed. Well, month and a half after, nothing changed, Artaner chose a position to do nothing about it (at least i don't have any solution from them since so much time), instead they propose to "have a call again", not sure why if we already agreed on what should be done month ago. i did not want to change my review at first, but based on strange communication and no action done from Maison Artaner this is the only thing left for me.

in a nutshell, if you want a unique private project, this is probably not the place for you. Because if your ring comes out beautiful, they will promote hell out of it (think yourself if you are fine with it). Quality of the ring is top though. big shame that experience is ruined with communication issues.

p.s. in case there is a big defensive response from vendor to this comment, i want to state again that i did numerous tries to solve this issue with them but no result...

Maison Artaner designed and custom made my dream engagement ring and I could not have wished for a better experience. They listened to us and advised us along the whole brainstorming process by drawing and proposing different options until we finally made up our mind. The whole process was so enjoyable as the team was able to understand our needs and design a beautiful ring that told our story through their passion for jewelry. Mounia and Tamar never failed to welcome us with an open mind a big smile and a whole lot of new ideas.

Being involved in the process from the brainstorming stage (pictures, drawings) the sourcing of the diamond to the making of the ring (videos) has been another beautiful part of our engagement story that we dearly cherish.

Our experience with Maison Artaner has been a truly an incredible one. We’ve recently gotten engaged and have been for a jeweller, after having visiting a few that didn’t convince us we walked through Maison Artaner’s doors and straight away we were seduced !

They design and create all their jewellery, you can tell they’ve got a unique look to them, mid-way from classic and modern.

We told them we loved two of their models, but one was too big and the other too small. After having listened to our feedbacks they created a bespoke model which came out exactly as we wanted and the end result was beyond what we dreamed of!! We’ve received so many compliments from friends, family, colleagues.
