Firstly when we arrived at the restaurant I spoke in English to the waitress and asked for a table for 3. Immediately she screams to the kitchen "oh they are tourists!" in Mandarin (I'm an ABC in case you're wondering). This I thought was weird, as did my partner. When the lady took our order, she showed no enthusiasm at all. Every question we asked her seemed liked a mission and was too difficult. She had no understanding of the menu, and recommended the run of mill selections. The food was OK however the servings were small. But the issue was when we noticed the waitress would greet and treat every other Caucasian patron in the restaurant with friendly flare and tender touches except us. I'm guessing they knew we were Chinese and had a preconceived misconception about us (mind you the whole restaurant's staff were Chinese, we could hear them all talk in Mandarin).

Fine, we will forget that we treated like that, perhaps they were busy. When time came to pay the bill, she looked at my card and told me her bank had some trouble with overseas card and accepted cash only. I pointed her door that it says she accepts visa and MasterCard. She then repeated what she said and scuffled away. I'm a banker by trade, so I'm very well aware this doesn't add up. Every single restaurant I've been to in Europe has accepted card payments, except this place.

I was quite disappointed with my...

Was beaten outside the restaurant by the staff (the young man and the old man) when asked for a table change. This incident took place on 2nd Jan 2018. My friend and I visited this restaurant to have dinner at around 7 20 pm. This young waiter (with a South east Asian descent) asked us to sit on a table which we weren't happy with. We asked him if we could sit on another table and his reply was "no, I no like. Get out.". We didn't know how to react as we were being asked to get out for a reason so silly. We argued with him for a mere 20 seconds and got out. He followed us out and started shouting and began hitting my friend. Shocked. Police was called and complaint has been lodged. Worst dining...

Food was okay, nothing to write home about but I'm a bit spoiled on good Thai food in my city. This restaurant gets a bad review because when I was present with my bill I gave them my Visa card, and in response our waitress said "We're going to have a problem, how do I explain this... we don't want to take your card". The door clearly had "We Accept Visa, Mastercard etc.." stickers plastered on it. No one said anything about this when we sat down, we had reservations and were one of the only 2 tables there when we arrived. They insisted that I walk 5 blocks to an ATM, and when I returned and paid there were no apologies, just a mocking pouty face gesture from...

I've been in this restaurant in June during a short journey in Paris, attracted by good reviews for this place. The place is quite small and a bit hot inside, my advice is to try to reserve one of the few tables outside. Service was extremely pleasant and accurate. I asked for something typical of thai cuisine based on sea food, quality was good but portions were in my opinion small.

What a nice discovery! This small Thai food restaurant located in a small street has a great vibe. Food is good and homemade, the staff is very kind and funny. Fair prices and good portions are what awaits you there. The lady / owner welcomes you warmly and the younger waiters make you feel like are home. Totally recommended.
