It’s a shame that the manager of the establishment took the time to reply and let me know how it went. Only to complain about my complain and “apologise if” but basically telling me I was wrong. I’m sorry he felt offended at the “sans jugeote” comment. I can agree to take that back. However, the service offered by the staff is very poor. The woman serving put things on the table and didn’t even acknowledge our presence. She looked like an angry teenager doing chores. And the guy with the short sleeves and piercings too. It was a very puzzling moment.
I only complaint about the guy initially because he was the worst of all. Also, I was not the client who had to wait. Nor the client with the baby (I personally went to help the woman with the baby) as your server stood blocking her from entering the place correctly through the door). He was just standing there, scratching his harm, his back to the entrance door while a woman holding a baby and a stroller was struggling to keep the door open and the stroller in. The server continued his nonchalant discussion outside while blocking her. It’s a shame that instead of actually observing what’s there to improve with the salon de the (what would make someone stop and actually write a comment of a place they like), the people behind the operation feel offended and tell me I’m wrong.
I felt sad that during the brunch having to sit through this bad service only because I do enjoy your food so very much. But ultimately it’s not worth it. Specially to read such a reply.
Taking rude and bad service (I changed the adjective not to offend too much) to a new low level. Never seen a more inadequate service and I’m Parisian. Specifically the young server of this Saturday morning at 10:45. Very Short hair. Piercings. Very interested in his t-shirt sleeves and tatouages. Picking his own skin in front of us. A knack for ignoring us, speaking rudely and ignoring a woman with a baby that needed his help. Not to mention his lack of service skills. I used to come here a lot. How things have changed. Victimes de votre...
Read moreWe waited litterly for more than 3h and everytime its been said "20min and we will have a table opened" people from the back of the lane will be granted entery 1st for some reason, when asked it was said "they are a gr of 3 for a table of 4 ppl" couldn't easily take the 1st two couple and it will easily fit the table of 4.
Never the less after all that wait we we put on a table outside were restructuration work was in process, which resulted to hella loud noices and alot of flying dust, not getting started about the kitchen window that was throwing heat to our feet.
We gave up the circus and just left after checking with the menu that it will atleast take another 45min to get our dishes ready, by then it will be soon lunch.
I so not recommend this place unless you are willing to wait the whole day for that, And people were just sitting inside talking nit providing their seats for the next customer, and no body in the shop has done anything about it 🤷🏻♀️.
We came specifically from Switzerland on a food tour to try some places in paris but this was a total FLOP! 1 star for the...
Read moreAmazing! The best tea I've had in so long--so light and flavorful, and an added bonus: every blend is named after an opera, and you can buy bags of your favorites to go! I had their Hansel and Gretel, which was a green tea with rosehip, cornflower, acai and strawberry--highly recommend! We had their version of high tea, which included sweet and savory snacks, and got to each pick a pot of tea and dessert from their dessert case. We tried their tiramisu and raspberry vanilla custard cake, and they were the best desserts we've had during our whole visit to Paris (and we've had a LOT.) Also, can I give a shout-out to the staff, because I've had some sub par service here where I've felt rushed or ignored, and everyone at this restaurant was incredibly sweet! Even one of the chefs came out to check on our meal and say hello! If you want a cute tea cafe with amazing, cozy atmosphere and fantastic food, please go here and have a blast (and...
