We visited the restaurant yesterday and we really likes the environment. Unfortunately the only waitress working there didn’t speak English at all and the language barrier. The menu was only in French and we struggled to understand and translate the food on the translation app. I explained that I am pregnant and have food restrictions and it seems that the waitress got it. We had two starters and two main dishes. I ordered the pigeon dish and kindly asked them to cook the meat well down due to pregnancy. The waitress seems she understood as she said “bien”. However the meat was not cooked well done and looked bloody . Immediately I signed to the chef who was passing by and kindly explained him that I am pregnant and have ordered the meat to be cooked well done and asked him if he could replace it. He said it’s difficult but he would do it . I found his behaviour very rude as no one of them (neither the chef nor the waitress) apologised and he hesitated when I explained him that the bloody meat is not suitable for my pregnancy. Later, the waitress brought me the plate with the pigeon and seemed a bit annoyed and didn’t apologise for the mistake. When I cut the meat the pigeon breast was bloody again. It seems he only replace the piece that I cut and put another one in the plate. Very disappointing as they didn’t care and didn’t pay attention to a very serious health issue and they treated with no respect. The waiting personnel advised on the menu and helped with translation. The Chef came to greet us and took a special order from our daughter which was not even in the menu!
