I finally settled down after my wife and I got back from a road trip thru Germany, Italy, France and Belgium - then back to our EU home in Riga, Latvia.
On October 11th , We had just stayed with friends in their Chateau, near Chateau Gontier where they also have a fine restaurant (more on that later).
We saw an article that mentioned La Maison du Beurre in St Malo. We thought this looks great! We adore french butter and much of it comes from this region in Normandy. "How exciting", my taste buds throbbed with anticipation. So we added the lengthy stop to our next destination of Deauville.

Dont stop at this place - Go to a good French supermarche. My favorite butter remains "Payson Breton Aux Cristaux de...
