Les Terroiristes Associés — Restaurant in Saint-Malo

I've been in Saint Malo and this place is the absolute best, I've lost count of how many times I've been back. The place is chic with a very cool relaxed and friendly atmosphere and a great selection of rum's. Downstairs is a relaxing bar area with a comfortable canape and lounge area to drink and relax, upstairs is the smart dining area, altogether a great ambience. That's just the place itself and the environment. The food is par excellence. Norman the chef is the best. The menu is imaginative and varied, I always start with the delicious assiette mixed of a variety of cheeses and meats/charcuterie to take the edge off my hunger, there is a great and inexpensive varied wine list and choice of draught beers. The food is exquisite, delicious, top quality, and beautifully presented, and so inexpensive, I think I have had most of the choices on the menu in my time and never been disappointed, and the menu regularly changes so there is often something new and interesting. I have enjoyed trying many different restaurants in my time in Saint Malo, so many are good, with all the choice there are only a couple I've been back to more than once because they are particularly good, Les Terroristes I keep coming back to as it's just so good, such a great place in terms of chic cool relaxed friendly pleasant ambience, Norman the chef is a dude, an interesting and friendly guy, and the service, if a little run off their feet when the place is understandably busy, is excellent and do a great job achieving a timely service. Don't hesitate to visit, it should be much more expensive than it is, intead it's so affordable I don't hesitate to visit again and again and it has become 'chez moi' at St Malo, I must have been 5 or 6 times in 3 months, and always by the time I've finished feel I have enjoyed the best but paid the least which is the perfect formula so I never hesitate to come again and that's with so all the choice available in Saint Malo and plenty of places still to try. My husband and I are on vacation in Saint-Malo and we visited the intra-muros today. We really didn't want to eat in a tourist trap with high prices and mediocre food, but we didn't have much information to go on since reception within the walled city was spotty at best.

We walked into Les Terroristes Associés without much expectation. I liked the decor and it looked like a pretty chill place. Colour me surprised when I discovered that their set meal options were both very reasonably priced and delicious!

We had a few hours to spare before the ferry back to UK and found this place by accident - we asked a local shopkeeper to recommend somewhere.This place was a real find and we will return as we have sound some of the local restaurants really poor. There was a very small menu (a good sign) with only two main courses (one seafood and one meat) using local fresh produce. Food is cooked in view of your table on the ground floor and was excellent and a very reasonable price (Euro 2 courses). The two staff were super friendly and we liked the ambiance. The beer was...
