Mana Restaurant — Restaurant in Saint-Malo

Well - I don't think I EVER gave a restaurant 5 stars... And I have rated quite a number of places in the years I have been travelling! So, this is a first for me - and here is why... I love cooking and consider myself a reasonably good cook. I LOVE food and my culinary range is very wide... So for me eating out has to be an experience, something better than staying home (yes - even when travelling!) or eating a sandwich... Experience in the plate and the taste and quality of the ingredients, but also with the service and the atmosphere - as google rightly offers us to review independently in our ratings... Well - Mana offers all three, in spades! Benjamin, the owner, is welcoming everyone and making sure everything is going perfectly! A wine passionate, he has some very intriguing drops to sample! whilst his chef in the kitchen ie making sure your taste buds will also feel delighted! All in all a great combination - and the reason behind my first 5 stars ever!...

Once in a great while you find that special resturant where the magic of an incredible chef de cuisine is partnered with a phenomenal front of house host to result in the most amazing dinner experience possible. Mana resturant is just such a place in Saint Malo, France. You can be visiting from thousands of miles away but from the moment you walk in this cozy place, you feel right at home. The small curated menue of entrees, plats and desserts is comprised of each item perfectly prepared so well ..........well just pick any, you can't go wrong. Price is beyond reasonable for the quality of food and the attention to service. Vive la France et Vive le...

Found this place on Google Maps when looking for high rated restaurants to dine at. I was only in Saint Malo on a day trip from Jersey. Absolutely delicious food, I couldn't fault anything. Food didn't just taste incredible. It was also presented beautifully. Nice tunes playing that created a great ambience. Service was impeccable, friendly, and attentive. Crab, eggs mimosa was my starter, accompanied by a glass of champagne. Main of ray/skate wing, that melted in my mouth, cooked to 👌 perfection. This is a definite must if looking for somewhere to dine...
