After coming here for years now, it is due for a review. It has been getting progressively worse over time, now the brunch is smaller, and quite honestly not really tasty anymore. You have to wait ten minutes for the menu, you have to ask for water like 5 times (whereas it's often brought in by default in most Strasbourg locations without asking). It's however by the canal, usually very nice under nice weather, and if you don't care for food or service quality, the prices are fair for drinks. If the place had actual proper competition it probably wouldn't have survived to this day with this service quality. The waiting staff here get a special mention due to their... lack of actually wanting to do any waiting service. Good to go for an apero, but bring your patience and lots of time...
Read moreI had a bad experience with the service here. I waited for more than 20 minutes without being attended. There were other people who came after me and were attended. As the employee was ignoring me, I went to the counter but again they pretended that i wad not there. Then I appreciated that there were two employees looking disgusted at a pan they were cooking. I didn't need any more reasons to leave. Moreover, the place is all sloped on both terrace and boat. The front door has the automatic closing system brocken, which means that for each person entering or leaving it was necessary for one of the customers to get up...
Read moreGoogle maps showed less busy than usual. We are a group of 7. Initially they said a 15 minute wait. We said we are OK with a 4 top and a 3. They then said if we went inside the 7 of us could sit together. On way to table the manager came out and said, No. So, I asked again about 4 & 3. They no, they were too busy. Now, if we had made a fuss or a scene, OK, but nothing was said from our end, no attitude at all.. I am happy they have so much business they can turn away a couple hundred euro customer....
