This bar offers a great view of the river and is in an ideal location for a drink. Unfortunately, apart from that everything else is not satisfying . The service was super slow, we waited for quite a long until someone noticed we came and there was only one waitress trying to serve all the tables in the terasse. The wine glasses of both of us were stained, so this means they hadn't been washed properly. The waitress never cleaned the table which was also sticky and stained. The service was very unpleasent. We were waiting for more than half an hour to obtain the menu card from the two women. It seemed to be, that they completly ignored us and didn't wanted to take any order from us. Other guests who arrived later could enjoy the full service including drinks to be served. After waiting again 40 minutes we decided to leave. The little blonde girl replied insolently in french: " You're leaving, that's fine." We deserved a better service than that brash reaction....

I liked the restaurant, located on a permanently moored barge on the Ill River opposite the main part of the old downtown. The wine was good, and so was the delicious tarte flambée (Elsässer Flammkuchen) Forestière Gratinée with bacon, mushrooms, and gruyère.
