All in all, a very good experience and I recommend this hotel to anyone planning a stay in Strasbourg. We were there on a city break, 3 nights and had booked a junior suite to give us a little extra space. The staff were very welcoming and efficient; always happy to help and sharing advice on how to get around and what to see. The hotel is about 400 meters from the Place de la Cathedral, so very easy on foot to all of the good stuff. They provide an reasonable breakfast which seems a little pricey, but there are a lot of staff on duty looking after guests, so easy to see why it is 25 euros per person. On this I will also add that other places in the vicinity that advertise breakfast do not open until late morning and the one establishment we did visit was not great and surrounded by some pretty unpleasant people swigging wine (at 10am). So good to factor this in in terms of value for money. The beds are very comfortable with a super firm mattress with a nice mattress topper to soften it out but still be supportive. The hotel rooms are super quiet; I have never seen such huge thick doors in any hotel! Our room was about 4 meters from the breakfast room but it was absolutely silent, despite all of the hum-drum going on next door. We did get a little noise from the ceiling but the patrons were on the silver hair side and went quickly to bed. I would also add that hotel air conditioning is usually very noisy, but left on low and without setting an extreme cold temperature, we were not disturbed. I will also mention that the tram (C) from the station goes directly and stops in around 100 meters, so it makes life easy to transfer and taxis and not needed. Bear in mind that the old centre is completely bus, car and tram free, so the only option is to use you feet and if you wish, hop on the tourist train to take you around.||All in all, a great place to stay. It was a very welcome place to return to in the evening and I would like to thank all of the staff for making...

My experience at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with the utmost hospitality. The staff was remarkably attentive, ensuring every aspect of our stay was seamless. Our room was beautifully designed, featuring an elegant interior and a breathtaking city view. The breakfast service was outstanding, offering a delightful selection of high-quality options. This hotel excels in delivering a truly luxurious and unforgettable experience—I highly recommend it.

Room was beautiful and spacious. The building has a lot of character. We stayed for three nights during the heat wave. I understand that the building is old and doesn’t have a/c throughout but it was brutally, nauseatingly hot in the hallways and elevator the entire time. They should have plugged in fans all over the place. The stairwell was blocked off so you were forced to use the elevator which I don’t like at all. The staff was pleasant and helpful but the service to the room was sub-par. We actually ran out of toilet paper! Cleaning lady did not leave an extra. The hand soap and shampoo were both almost empty when we got there. Were refilled when I asked. Bed comfortable but pillows weren’t. A/c in the room was good. Location was quiet. Good if that’s what you want but it doesn’t give you the feel of being in the action. Not convenient to breakfast places and the breakfast there is €25!! Ridiculous. €5 just to get coffee in the morning. Machines to make instant in the room but not the same. For the high price we paid for the room, the hotel was, overall, a bit...

This hotel is located very close to the city center and next to the river, allowing to have a nice walk alongside the river towards the city center. The staff was friendly and very forthcoming. Hints about some broken stuff (in our case the soap dispenser didn't work in the room) were promptly addressed and fixed. There is no dedicated parking, however the hotel offers a valet for 30€ for the night. This was alright, however when we got the car back, car settings were changed, seat position moved, mirrors changed. I wasn't happy with that. The room and bed was clean. I expected a bigger room, especially since I booked the superior room. I have been to other places in Strasbourg in the same price range having much larger rooms. The traditional hotel itself looks stunning - yet at the same time looks dated. Wallpapers with holes or broken sinks here and there. The building is asking for repairs... The bar and lobby sits in the dark and doesn't give anyone the desire to enjoy a drink.

Very cute boutique hotel. Only odd thing is entrance is off to left. Sort of awkward. And there are stairs and with bags it was a bit challenging to get into hotel. Once in we got help but no readily available valet. Once inside, there is a cozy bar to left and then front desk straight ahead. Bar could use a refresh in terms of decor and too many seats for the space imho but the staff was lovely and we enjoyed a few nights having a night cap there. We stayed 3 nights. Room was clean and super comfy bed. Bathroom was very nice. Lovely view of a gorgeous apartment building across the street. And other beautiful buildings and churches. Great location for walking or biking. Huge biking city. Breakfast room was really beautiful and bright with original artwork. Breakfast was good and the man working it was lovely. Staff helped us secure a ride to Basel and got us a discount. Overall loved it. I would say it’s 4.5. Strasbourg overall is a spectacular small city. Highly recommend!
