I’ve heard such wonderful comments about the place and today I’ve made a first attempt to visit it with my friend and my 22 months toddler. I would like to share my experience, hoping the owner will take it into consideration, only as genuine and constructive feedback: Access: it would be great if there was a ramp for the strollers to enter the place. I’m 6 months pregnant and it was difficult to lift the stroller together with the toddler. Greeting: I’m not sure if it was the language barrier - I speak only English and a little French- or because I wasn’t clear enough, however I felt I was greeted and treated in a little bit dismissive way. I was hoping someone from the staff to welcome us with a smile and warmth, to dedicate 1’ of their time in order to show us very very basic things about the space and the rules for the playroom that we couldn’t even read because it was all in French. I do hope other pregnant ladies with children had more support and help, as that was my impression for the philosophy of the place Sitting: I appreciate it would be very helpful if the tables exactly next to the playroom would be for the parents that actually bring their toddlers there to play, while enjoying their coffee and their brunch. I believe that is the concept of having and advertising the playroom, unless the dedicated space is for older toddlers which demands no contact and no supervision. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find a space close to the playroom to sit and since no one cared to accommodate us, we left. To be honest, overall, we felt unwelcome. It’s a shame because we really wanted to try out the delicious food and the cozy atmosphere we’ve seen around once we entered the place. Anyway, wishing you...
Read moreHad the Mama Benedict you see in the picture (17€) and it's only good for posting on social media.. tried to give this feedback in person (politely, after being asked) but the waitress was ignorant and interrupted me immediately, so here my suggestions: menu says "Bread with seeds", but i got a sweet bread you'd use for french toast (not nutritious, left hungry) bread was very dry and the sauce hollandaise, too (wasn't able to pick it up with a fork because it brittled, so it looked like a massacre halfway through) menu says "tomatoes" but i got onions (almost raw, so very dominant; English menu says tomatoes, French onions..) was very hard to find the mushrooms (two slices I'd guess) egg was in good shape, but no salt on it way too expensive for basically one cube of bread and an egg (16,90 and price wasn't even mentioned in the English part of the menu)
Taste was therefore: Sweet bread, roasted paprika powder, onions and a salty feta (my optional choice) -- didn't fit together at all Everything for itself was too dominant and mixed with each other there...
Read moreMe and my girlfriend found this for a quick impromptu brunch on a Wednesday morning, pleasantly surprised at the modern hip interior, a nice greeting from the staff upon entry. We were seated and helped in a friendly manner and we felt welcome. Sadly, we waited a considerable amount of time for our 2 cappuccinos. I had the idea they maybe wanted to serve them at the same time as the food? That just seems a bit strange to me, since we were sitting for ~30 minutes with nothing on the table. The food was delicious and the coffee was good. Would have easily ordered a second one for when the food came, so that's a shame for you guys!
But thank you for the lovely brunch :)
Also ps: the server had apologized and showed us he injured his hand during the waiting time, of course we completely understand that delays...
