Disappointed with the manners of the lady in the accueil. Firstly she said that without reservation we couldn't have a table in a rude tone. . (even though there were a few tables clearly empty) After giving us a second look, she magically found a table. Then she took us to a small room on the back, with no air conditioning, very hot and isolated. We obviously left, as we didn't want to spend our money in an unpleasant area, sweating. I wonder how it is possible to maintain an area in the restaurant with zero air conditioning (when the temperature in the rest of the restaurant is pretty cool) and propose to clients to sit and eat there, especially without warning them for...

This place was across from our Airbnb so I popped in one night when my hubby and baby were too tired to go out. I wouldn’t usually pick Italian food in France. But it was good. I had the St Germaine Spritz which was lovely. The lasagne, which was huge. I finished about a third of it because I wanted dessert. I finished off with a tiramisu and a liquor laced coffee. Pop & Lino in Strasbourg offers a good ambience—bright, modern, and casual, making it a nice place to hang out for a quick snack or light meal.

However, the service could definitely be improved. We had to call several times to get attention, and the overall response felt quite cold and inattentive.

The place does feel a bit overhyped compared to what it delivers. The pizza is decent, but not outstanding—certainly not the highlight...
