I will start with the only good thing that this hotel has, namely the location (15 minutes walk) to the city center.Unfortunately, from the very beginning, we had problems: with the parking place, The room I received was in the basement, absolutely disastrous, smell of mold, bed too small for two people, shriveled walls, damaged television, dust on furniture, the bathroom was not clean (water marks on the mirror, unclean toilet on the edges, as well as the shower) We went up to the reception to say about these things, because during the check-in the card data were taken IN CASE WE WILL DESTROY SOMETHING??? But the room was already disastrous anyway, I asked for another room but again, the one at the reception did not understand and came up with a bed sheet...repeating to him that we want a new room he said briefly - we don't have it. We decided to ask for the money back and leave but he replied that he could not do so, not having access to the key...I finally got a room across from the one I had, also in the basement and this presence of impurity, spiders canvases, the curtains we could not draw them with everything that allowed passers-by to see in our room, the windows with bars overlooking the pedestrian's feet, noise from the street...fix what you don't want to have in a mini vacation... breakfast is not worth the money, too little things, coffee was not good, dry omlet, and hygiene measures leave here to be desired... in the end we handed over the room, we were asked absolutely nothing, we were told only an OK and that's all. For a 3-star hotel maybe it would be good to reevaluate the cleaning team and all at once and the breakfast buffet. We did not want to stay in luxury, but at least the standard for a hotel located in the center of Strasbourg and for the money...
Read moreThe room was OK. The main problem is the shower, since there is no door/curtain the water falls and everything ends up wet. Another issue is the lack of places where to charge stuff. There is like... 2 plugs in all the room, one in the bathroom and the other on the ground. Since there is no AC, we ordered a fan, which was plugged.on the ground. Since we plugged the fan, we couldnt boil water, as ONE phone was being charged in the bathroom. Is not that bad but we were 3 people so it was kinda unconvenient. Beds kinda mid.
Outside of that, everything was amazing. The staff was so, so kind and cordial. They spoke multiple languages and are so willing to help you that it was unbeliavable. They explained us how to charge the bus tickets, order food, etc, also gave us directions. Probably the nicest staff we've encountered on a hotel. The breakfast was good too. The location is okay too, like 10 mins away from center and very close to bridges. A very quiet...
Read moreEven though the location is fine, the service of the hotel is unacceptable. During the check-in process, the reception lady only told us the room floor and didn't mention any checkout time or Wi-Fi password. Therefore, we followed the check-out time on the trip website. The following day they told me that we needed to leave before 11 pm and allowed us to spend more couple minutes. They said the time on the website was wrong but the problem is why they don't adjust and tell us during the check-in. It is bothering us to rashly prepare our staff to leave. Also, there was one thing to complain but it maybe was my special case. There was a poo in the toilet…… I think the quality of reception needs to well well-trained more and the...
