NUOVO CAFFE MILANO — Restaurant in Strasbourg

I can truly assure, that every person who says anything bad about the food here is just hating without actually giving it a thought. Food was delicious, first I ordered pizza bufala with the red glass of wine, as it is on the photo (for people who say “am i blind or where’s the red wine” no you aren’t but neither you are smart, since you probably didn’t understand why it’s because you are one of these haters), the pizza had air inside which made it more puffy on the edge. the cheese bufala was kind of thick from inside, yet very tasty and didn’t lose the taste of the cream, the ham was so soft that it was in fact melting on my tongue. For everyone who even thinks that it shouldn’t have burnt parts, yes it should. And it shouldn’t even be a discussion. Try it and if you don’t like it then try again until you like it. But to be fair I will admit, that it was still a little overcooked.

As a second dish (yes) i ordered pasta 3 cheese and white wine and honestly i didn’t expect for cheese to be as good as it was. I am not saying that it was the best cheese i had but I certainly would take it if i wanted something not complicated and trust me white wine was perfect with it, the taste of gorgonzola cheese was quite strong, but Emmental made it smooth while parmesan added some buttery taste, while white wine gave it the sharpness it needed and it made me feel the taste of warm cheese again and again after each sip of cold wine. what I also liked was the fact that salt didn’t play nearly any role, everything that i ate had it’s own taste which tells you that you did, in fact have a great dinner.

Do i say that it is the best thing you can ever eat ? No, especially compared to the original south of Italian cuisine and yet out of all the Italian restaurants in Strasbourg this restaurant came closest to the original taste, only problem I found was the quality of ingredients such as pasta or flour, I am not saying that these ingredients are toxic or something like that, but they will make you feel very and very full (I know that i ate two dishes), the thing is I can’t put that blame on the restaurant because i know that ingredients in France generally are not that good so it is very hard, if not impossible to maintain the best quality food like it is in the south of Italy, yet the food here is delicious.

Service : Server was very nice and very quick, can not criticize anything about him, so if any of you had a bad day then unhave it or come another day when you will get at least one hug, don’t put any of your bad feelings or problems on the service they already bring you such a nice food in such a nice way after dealing with so many costumers and problems throughout the whole day, just let them to bring you joy with their niceness and shining food. If you want a waiter to smile then do it yourself first.

What about the prices, they are perfect and i mean it, i visited quite a lot of restaurants in Strasbourg and for the same prices you get way worse, while for the same quality of the food you have to pay way more. Yes i did pay 37,50 € but I ordered food and drinks basically for two people.

Atmosphere: Italian. People talking loud and kids also being kids, maybe it is me because i am quite sensitive with the noise so for all the autistic or just sensitive people take the earplugs or the headphones , because trust me it is worth it. what about the restaurant by itself, what objectively and subjectively it is very romantic place to go especially if you are one of these people who likes to have romantic evening with their own selves (like me) if you have to discuss something with someone or think by yourself you can just sit there and talk or think while looking around either enjoying the person in front of you by them looking better because of the background.

P.s i tried both red and white wines and i would recommend to take red wine with pizza and white one with pasta or salad. And if you do want to make the experience better just take a bottle of olive oile and sprinkle with it a little bit.

They do not speak English at all. In general most people are more likely to know some German rather than English. This made it a fun experience, though, as the staff is really friendly and they try really hard to communicate. Had a banana split, which was delicious, but a bit expensive. Pizzas are only served starting at 6 p.m., but this seems to be common habit...

J' étais de passage au lycée Jean rostand, et en attendant de pouvoir rentrer chez moi, j ai voulu prendre un café, j avais un gâteau dans mon sac pour accompagner... lorsque subitement un serveur ou je ne sais qui, me fait la remarque que je n avais pas le droit de manger mon gâteau avec son café ... je n ai même pas pu le boire alors qu il m a coûté 3€ ! Bref, serveur ou patron désagréable, aucun savoir être ni aucun respect et le pire, il m a dit d aller manger au Mc do !!! Petso., je ne remettrai jamais les pieds dans ce café et je ne le recommande pas du tout !!!

Arrêtez de mentir et de vous enfoncer. Je n avais même pas fini mon gâteau et je l ai rangé avec son papier dans mon sac. J ai effectivement laissé ma tasse de café sur la table car vous ne m avez pas laissé la finir tranquillement. Au moins chez mc do,on vous demande de venir comme vous êtes. Prenez exemple ! Sur ce,...
