Les Trappeurs — Restaurant in Thonon-les-Bains

Can't recommend Les Trappeurs enough! We came here twice as a group of 15 and they were so accommodating both times. Food was perfect - great quality, flavoursome and substantial for a day on the slopes. There were rave reviews for the burger. The service also went above and beyond, unlike many of the other restaurants in this area. They found out we had two 30th birthdays in the group and put in extra effort to make sure we were all seated together, and they even sent out Génépi shots to celebrate! Thank you for being so warm and happy - we look forward to coming back...

Terrible service. Rude man at the first queue, got to the front after waiting for 5 minutes with other people being served and he barked "bar" at me.

The bar was deserted.

Went into the main building and whilst 6 waiters were sitting around a table laughing and chatting, I had to ask can I please buy a drink?

Eventually he asked what I wanted and then proceeded to make the other waiters' drinks before mine.

Great location, but awful coffee.

Had three touch points with staff. Contact #1, member of staff outside at a bar where customer sit. Asked if I could order coffee and the reply was a surly “No” -she pointed to the entrance door indicating I should go inside. Contact #2 was with the chap who made the coffee.
