My first review ever because it has to be shared. If you are hoping to enjoy a hot tub/jacuzzi, this is not the place. There is only an outdoor jacuzzi and it is not even as warm as a bath. Add to that the complete lack of supervision and there is no place to relax and enjoy the nature outside for a minute. When we first went outside, a large group of kids and adults were having a snowball fight, with no regard for anyone not in their group (not Aquariaz's fault, but also something they can act on and keep an eye out for - yes I did speak a lifeguard on duty, and spoke up while outside). I might sound like an old grouch, but I was hoping not to get multiple snowballs to the head and back this afternoon. There is also no hot tub/jacuzzi inside, so no chance to truly warm up inside. I ended up going back to the showers for 5-10 minutes to warm myself up so I could stay for a bit more time (my partner had wanted to try the place out, so trying to last a little longer). The main pool water is a good temperature (if there was somewhere else you could warm up from time to time) and the lazy river concept is nice. The "rock climbing" wall is only to be done horizontally to get to the rope swing and for taller adults, the depth of the pool under the rope swing is not significantly different to the rest of the main pool. The redeeming quality to the waterpark is the adult slide. A good little adrenaline rush so had a few tries at that (though be careful of your feet against the sidewall at the bottom exit). My local public pool is a much more...
Read moreA great place to spend a few hours. It was warm and clean in the changing rooms with lots of locker space and the complex wasn’t too busy for the first couple of hours of our visit and got busier as the afternoon went on. The water temp inside on a cold day in the main pool was slightly chilly so it’s worth having a towel but a perfect temp in the outside jacuzzi and splash park sections. We drove up from Saint Gervais as day guests on a cold wet day during the Easter holidays and it was the ideal rainy day activity for about 3 hours as we drove up out of the rain into snow and winter wonderland. The half pipe is really fun and the lazy river is great. If there was a big slide or two as well this place would be absolutely perfect. My kids are 8 & 10 and enjoyed trying to crack the climbing wall. When you could get space in the outside jacuzzi that was also a highlight as it began to snow. I would say it’s perfectly suited for toddlers and small kids and a fun activity for a family outing with older kids for...
Read moreThis place is an absolute joke. Big waste of money. The showers are cold and only 2 of them work. You cannot spend more than 10 minutes in the pool without choking on chlorine gas ( this is coming from a competitive swimmer who is used to chlorine). It is not an aqua park as it does not have any functioning water slides. I was stopped from swimming in the pool by very inconsiderate lifeguards. The pools were overcrowded with people and there were dead leaves floating around in the water. The jacuzzi was too cold and there were inconsiderate children screaming their heads off and throwing snowballs at people in the jacuzzi. The lockers do not lock and the keys are on wristbands which do not adjust so come loose and give users rashes. The swing rope was the only positive but due to the overcrowding people pushed you into the water. So cheap the floor of the pool is not make of tiles so you scratch yourself and bleed. Do not recommend, in truth not...
