I've been here several times over the years and thought it was time to write a review and praise the team at le Clin d'Oeil! We went this year with the biggest group we've had, despite this we we're made very welcome and looked after. Food was outstanding, the staff clearly take a lot of pride in their service and what's cooked up in the kitchen. Waiting staff seem to know exactly when to when to help too. Portions are hearty yet well presented, can't wait to go back again the next year. Read the other reviews about the great traditional mountain food and their duck specialities but my personal recommendation is the spicy shrimp risotto, the prawns with a paprika thing going on and the scallops if you want something lighter for main. There’s something for everyone here (except maybe vegans?). We had rang ahead to book a table due to having a very large group of 12 of us, and when we arrived it did seem that they didn’t have the reservation but still managed to accommodate us which was really impressive for such a large group.
