Pret A Manger La Vallée Village — Restaurant in Torcy

Very roomy Prêt with lots of tables and seats, inside and out.

Prêt is overpriced, especially in France I guess but the food is always fresh and tasty in this one at least.

The only thing I think should be improved is the cashier system: I went a couple of times because I work at the village, and it's often very unclear if some of the tills are actually open or not.

Also, customers are often heard being confused about whether they should form 1 general queue or queue at each till.

The staff sees us but doesn't say anything to guide us and just takes care of whoever walks up to the cashier first.

(like, if there's 1 giant queue at 1 till because everyone assumes we queue at 1 place only, and you see a customer just walking up to a till where the previous customer is leaving, I guess you could accept them but you should also indicate to the people in the actual queue that they don't have to wait at only 1 place. Not saying anything leaves confusion and calls for unnecessary dissatisfaction that could...

The perfect place to eat early in the morning in La Vallee Village.

As we were among the first customers in the outlet village, there were not many other options to grab a bite to eat. However Pret-A-Manger solved our problem as they served a large variety of high quality food and fresh coffee. Sandwiches we bought looked and tasted fresh, but the cookies and croissants displayed by the cashier looked like someone had eaten a piece from them.

Service was unfortunately a bit confused and slow, still friendly and attentive. Plenty of seating inside and outside (it was very pretty and cozy), although it got busy pretty quickly after 10:30 AM. Paid by card. Visited...

Very good salad as usual I want to compliment Eric a very usual employee of the chain He is very diligent, hardworking and always cleaning the table. When he saw my fork dropped, he had the initiative to bring me a new one plus servette.

The lady in the photo was exactly the reverse. She is rude and stared at me when I ask for the fork as if I was speaking Greek
