This restaurant features a three course menu of appetizers, entree and dessert. You can select combinations of two or all three, so we went for all three. An excellent choice as it turns out.
The waiter, who was entertaining, fun, and speaks French and Spanish, recommended a wine to go with the meal. If you go, ask his advise and follow it… his choice was great and went perfectly with the food.
I had the cassoulet and my wife had the duck and they were both excellent. The appetizer was Gazpacho, and it was boldly flavored and delicious. The dessert I chose was called Banoffee, which doesn’t translate to English and we are the poorer for it. It was akin to a banana Creme pie in the same sense that seeing a postcard of the ocean is like wading into the waves on a flawless morning in Kauai. The crust was a thick butter crumble pastry with a thin layer of bananas and a layer of a banana flavored foam. Rich without being cloying.
