La Fiancee is one of those rare gems in Toulouse where food and hospitality are above and beyond. I've eaten here many times since 2016 and I've always had incredible experience. I have a bunch of food intolerances which they always kindly accommodate and I appreciate that more than I can say. Their staff is always incredibly kind and very often bi-lingual and the food is top notch. I visited just yesterday and I ordered the big plate which is a full on English style breakfast with eggs, toast, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, beans and salad. I didn't actually expect it to be big but it was! I'm not sure if they heard me talking about my pregnacy but the amount of bacon they gave me was definitely a portion for 2! I didn't ask for it but it was an incredibly sweet gesture and I felt taken care of. I cannot reccomend this place enough. Read moreAbsolutely fabulous stop for brunch in the heart of Toulouse. Parking is tricky, so I suggest parking in Esquirol or Capitole and walk 7-10 mins. The staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. Not na easy job but they have smile smiles smiles all round. Could not fault anything with the staff. Just great. The chef is brilliant. Side note( for you young single woman out there- he is eye candy as well) His food was exquisite and very very tasty, attention to detail with his presentation and was spot on with the pairing of the foods. Avocado toast with cream cheese and a few strawberries, salad and fruit. Each mouthful was a pleasure. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and mouthwatering dishes for meat lovers and vegetarians alike. Oh and I highly recommend you to try the banana bread. The chef makes it himself. My grandmother once made the best banana cake but she has been outshone by this chefs banana cake. Fluffy, moist with the perfect amount of crunch. I'm actually salivating remembering it....

The two pieces of toast were also overcooked, it was super hard, therefore it was not easy to cut with the knife.
The staff was kind but the restaurant was really small, for 3 people you get 1 small...
