Le Palais du Rajah — Restaurant in Tours

Probably the worst indian restaurant in my life (and I tried a lot of them). Washed out aromas, no texture (the chicken comes in a soup rather than in a sauce)...this would not pass as "indian" with anybody who has any clue about what indian food means. Very slow service, we waited 30min for two small starters (some samosas with zero spices) and over an hour for the main course...then left 5 minutes later. Avoid at all price if you really like...

I was really looking for to a nice Indian meal and was very disappointed with my mix Biryani. There were bits of gristle and even a small chicken bone in my dish and the lamb had a funny taste like on the edge of being off. I left out the lamb and ate the rice. It was very dry. My compagnons had the chicken tikka massala. It was edible but not on a par with the ones we are used...
