Somewhat mediocre, although I rate 4 stars because the octopus starter was excellent. I had the Gravlax, that normally is salmon but they had octopus available and recommended the substitution. If I would have stopped with with octopus and champagne, I would have rated 5 stars. The braised lamb over ratatouille for the main was heavy and lacked interesting flavor or seasoning. The desert was huge, large enough for a family of four, and I’m pretty sure the peaches came from a can. Not quite “artisanal” as billed. The wine recommended was not special and I felt discouraged from browsing the wine list despite I would have been more than willing to buy a bottle even though I was by myself. Read moreThis was a real unique French experience dining in this restaurant. The food was delicious. It was made like you expect French food to be made with interesting ingredients. We also had the dessert which was the almond cake which was delicious with with some complementary mushroom and bread. Complementary bread was also served. We also had wine. It was a delicious dinner. And we had a dessert of army cake with pear and ice cream. It was delicious. If you were thinking about even going to this restaurant make sure you have a...

The food was good — we ordered foie gras and swordfish ceviche as starters, and for the main course we had grilled octopus and cod, the latter being particularly good. However, the overall experience wasn’t that pleasant due to the interaction with the waiters, who refused to change our fork and knife after the starters, even after we politely asked them to do so. This is a clear sign of poor service or a lack of professionalism, and understandably, the rest of the evening wasn’t as enjoyable as it could have been —...
