We found this place when searching on google maps, while on the train ride to Versailles. We just wanted a place to sit down and have a croissant and coffee, that was close to the train station and the chateau de Versailles. This place ended up working perfectly for us. When we first walked in we thought we were at the wrong place because they have a lotto sales counter inside. We also didn’t realize this was a tobacco bar. But besides that initial awkwardness, we sat down and had some good croissants and coffee. They also have a clean restroom. There were multiple people coming in to buy cigarettes while we were eating, which was not something we were used to. But the main thing was that we were able to get a good quick meal, use the restroom, then headed on over to the chateau.

The food, the service, and just about everything was perfect. This was my first time in France and I ordered the andouillette (ground pork intestine sausage). The waiter asked me multiple times if I was sure about my decision which was pretty funny lol. As a Chinese American, I have eaten similar things in Chinese cuisine, so I really liked it. Admittedly the smell was a pretty strong so it's definitely not for those with weak stomachs, but if you want to try something new, by all means go for it. The escargot was also amazing, and the price wasn't that high either. All around highly recommend this place, definitely coming back the next time I visit the Palace of Versailles.

It was a rainy day this afternoon; I was walking by with my friend and trying out this restaurant. Surprisingly, the food is exceptionally fabulous. We order a chicken with rice, and a royal burger; they both taste really nice. The service is good and the server was trying to upsell us the escargots. However, we just off from a cruise ship, we sticked with our order. Overall, great experience, and definitely will be back. Highly recommended.

Close to Palace of Versailles and RER train station, very pleasant stop for a Croque Monsieur 11€ and a Seafood Salad 14€. Portion size just right and serviced with 2 pcs fresh crisp and fluffy baguette each. Patio tables on sidewalk it was great to relax, eat and chat with a local on the shady side of the PM sun.. Inside is much more of a locals' bar atmosphere with pin ball and scratch cards. Our waiter was very welcoming, constantly checking if everything was good and if we needed anything else.

My first ever Croque was quite tasty with a drizzle of basil oil atop, thin white, crisp toasted bread that was not at all greasy with nicely browned cheese. Thin pcs of ham, it was quite flavorful. Not premium ingredients but fresh and ate every bite including the fried Potato discs and few pcs of crisp green lettuce with light vinaigrette.

Hubby is picky and loved his salad with green beans, shredded carrots, peeled cukes, toms 1/2C rice and a generous serving of mixed seafood (like the freezer medley bags you see in store) tiny shrimp, mussels, scallops, squid and octopus. Very light lemon olive oil dressing. He would gladly return. For me, it was the right place at the...
