We stopped at Madeleine Sandwich Bar for lunch after spotting good reviews on Google. It’s a cozy spot near the Palace of Versailles. We ordered two sandwiches: Le Pierre and Le Alain—both were fresh and really tasty. The bread, in particular, was excellent. I also had a slice of quiche au thon, which I learned is a traditional French dish. It was flavorful and satisfying. We paired the meal with a glass of Côte du Rhône wine—it was okay, but the food stood out more. The place is wheelchair accessible, though the tables were quite high and not ideal for wheelchair users. Fortunately, the staff were very friendly and accommodating—they brought over a chair so we could make it work. They also kindly let us charge our wheelchair. Overall, a great lunch spot with fresh ingredients, kind staff, and a relaxed vibe. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area.

This was fine. The Alaine sandwich with chicken, avocado, tomato, and mayo did not disappoint on its description, and eating only half was enough to hold each of us over for the morning. Nothing stunning, but quite acceptable. The service was charming and friendly—for sure a kind set of servers. It is rather adorable that they give trays with their food (even food that is obviously to-go oriented with its packaging). The apple tart was predominantly slices of apples; there wasn’t really a unique taste or texture to it, and the dough at the bottom felt like a separate entity from the apples on top—the dish as a whole didn’t feel cohesive. Ok overall, but I’d recommend poking around other places for food.

I had such a good experience here!!!! I got the vegetarian sandwich and a cappuccino which were both super good! The owner and girl who were there to help us were both so sweet and made us feel very welcomed. They have a super cute dog who hangs out there. Both the owner and girl who was working had the best customer service. We needed an adapter and asked them where we could buy one and the owner walked me next door and showed me where I could buy it and even spoke to the store owner in French for me so that he could make sure I could buy one, which was so sweet!! So glad we came here 😊😊

Extremely disappointing experience. We visited this place and encountered a complete lack of professionalism. There was a misunderstanding regarding the type of bread. I calmly and politely explained the issue and asked for the correct baguettes. Instead of handling it in a respectful and customer-oriented way, the staff reacted rudely, dismissively, and with zero regard for basic decency. After a drawn-out and unnecessary argument, the replacement baguettes were thrown into the bag without a word, and we were even insulted on top of it. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in any business. We left shocked and deeply offended. Absolutely would...
