I’ve been to McDonald’s in 17 different countries, so please trust me when I say I am convinced this is the worst McDonald’s in the world. First of all, it took over 30 mins to get our food. When we finally got our food it was missing half of our order and we had to go back multiple times to get our fries, drinks, and coffee. My parents’ food was actually cold, which makes sense because the staff were all standing around idly - one woman was literally standing around twiddling her thumbs, several other workers were chit chatting in the back. No wonder the food came out cold. When I confronted the server about waiting over 30 mins for our food, not only did he not apologize but he actually got annoyed with me and said “well everyone has to wait that long” and gestured to the growing crowd of hungry, upset customers waiting for their food. The service at this location is comically abysmal, I genuinely don’t think I’ve had a worse “fast” food experience. Avoid this location at...
Read moreYesterday I had a terrible experience there. The machine didn't give me a receipt, so I didn't know what my order number was. I went immediately and asked the employees for help and they gave me my order number. When my order was ready, one of the employees didn't want to give me my food because I didn't have the receipt. I tried to explain to him what happened, and I even showed him the charge on apple pay, but he didn't listen, he was only yelling at me and scolding me like if not getting a ticket was my fault. He also said things like "let me do my job, your problem is not my problem". At the end another employee gave me my stuff, but I still had to leave earlier because I didn't feel comfortable at all. He was a...
Read moreMcDonald’s or should I say McDo is a very different experience in France. There is a dedicated cafe and pastry area that is separate from the main counter. The food is not as good as an American McDonalds and everything is more expensive except for the McSmart meal. Also, you can get a beer at McDonald’s?!? Wild.
French McDonalds has this slower and more laid back environment, which is fun to experience when contrasted with the capitalist high energy expedience of an American McDonald’s.
I can’t really recommend that you go to McDonald’s when you have access to French food, but it can be a good option if you are not looking to have a pricey lunch with the duration of the typical...
