O'Bottega Versailles — Restaurant in Versailles

We stopped by this restaurant for a nice dinner after exploring the palace of Versailles. We walked in around 5:45 PM, to which there were zero customers inside. We were promptly greeted and directed to a table. We were pleased with the air conditioning inside the restaurant, as the previous restaurant that we almost settled at did not have any AC.

In my opinion, all four dishes that we ordered tasted delicious! We had the waiter recommend a pizza flavour to us, and it ended up being scrumptious. The ball of mozzarella was soft and light, and paired perfectly with the saltiness of the cured meat on top. The pasta had a nice flavour and the perfect amount of sauce to noodle ratio. I was particularly impressed by the sauteed vegetables, as it was something I had never tried before and never knew existed in Italian cuisine. It reminded me of Chinese stir-fried vegetables, nice and soft, with a hint of oiliness to bring out the flavour.

If you want to enjoy the nice pizza and spaghetti with a reasonable time and budget, I cannot recommend anywhere else before this restaurant.

The owner is always kind. The food is ready normally 15 mins whenever I order to have a take out to enjoy in the canal of Versailles.

Perfect place whenever you miss the flavor of Italy. The classic combinaison of pizza and spaghetti. What the hell do you need more? Of course, great Tiramsu is plus one hidden option you can lovely taste.

Don't hesistate and wander around the corner specically if you're a random tourrist to Versailles. Just order amazing options here and just walk around the beautiful street rue de satory, saint louis cathédrale.

Then you receive the orders and if you cannot walk inside the château, just go to the pièce des d'eau suisse and enjoy the foods watching amazing sky and the water under the historically grown trees.

Yoy don't need a guide or the terrace of Nice or Paris. Versailles is the perfect town you can enjoy the nature and walk and the historic tour at one shot as the person who have lived here more than 3...

The food was wonderful but the service was lacking. We were seated immediately and taken care of. When asked how big the portions were for kids, we got a non answer. Beers were warm. Never received our water. Never saw our waiter after we ordered. Even when the food was brought out, the person seemed miserable waiting on us.

We are familiar with European dining, so we know they aren't going to wait on your hand/foot/you flag them down. When we went to pay, another waitress took care of it. We informed her we never received our water, since it was on our bill, and she went and checked the table to make sure we didn't lie ?
