Omg babes, what an absolute belter of a night at Puchi! 💥 First off, Ketsana—what a diamond! Proper sweetheart, big smile, top-tier service, just an angel sent from above. The vibe in this place? IMMACULATE. Music? Bang on. Atmosphere? Pure magic.
Right, let’s talk food. We kicked things off with a dreamy Saint-Marcellin—melty, gooey, pure heaven. My fella had these roasted leeks, and honestly, they were so soft they practically whispered sweet nothings to my taste buds. I’m still thinking about them now.
Then came the mains, and wow—next level! I had the pluma de cochon, so tender it could’ve been cooked by the gods, and that honey apple sauce? Babe, it was a GAME CHANGER. My wifey went full-on indulgent with a mega steak and this ridiculous, juicy bone marrow—proper melt-in-your-mouth goodness.
And dessert? Oh, hun, I went in on the Cookie 6000 (YES, it’s as legendary as it sounds), while my wife sipped on a lush glass of wine, polishing off our bottle like the classy queen she is.
Bottom line—Puchi is the real deal. 100% worth it, no debate. Get yourself down there, order the lot, and let Ketsana work her magic. You won’t...
Read moreWe stopped by the restaurant while walking around Versailles after visiting the palace. We thought it was a simple bar (not really looking at the sign, walking from a far and taking a table outside across the street in the park). We just wanted to have a quick stop for refreshments. One in our groups decided he wanted a snack and ordered grilled leeks. We shared them and were blown away by the taste complexity and presentation. So we ordered green beans salad with duck and beef tartar to share. Everything was amazing! Very tasty, balanced, and creative. Beef tartar recipe is simply out of this world! And surprisingly, the prices are very affordable. To end, we got the rum baba. When it was brought, I was told to make a hole in the cake so the waiter can pour in orange infused rum till I say stop. I did that and the pour started. I was shocked by that and didn't stop him fast enough. So we ended up with a lot of rum in the bowl, which was very very generous. The cake and the cream it came with were incredible! The service was very good, attentive, with smiles and care. Highly...
Read moreA very pleasant dinner experience in the heart of Versailles. The restaurant Puchi truly deserves its name: charming and refined, it offers a culinary experience that feels both thoughtful and intimate. The terrace, nestled under the trees on the cathedral square, is a lovely setting — cosy and atmospheric.
The food and wine are of very good quality, with attentive service and quick delivery. I should have mentioned I wanted to enjoy my beer a bit longer as an aperitif, but that’s on me — everything arrived promptly and well-timed otherwise.
Having recently been in Tokyo, I can say that by Japanese standards Puchi feels cosy and welcoming, but not small — more like the perfect balance between elegance and comfort. I would...
