Sushi Royal — Restaurant in Versailles

This is a decent place to get ramen, yakinudon, tempura, sushi 🍣 and yakiniku (on bamboo stick). They got good location and table area for alfresco dining. It's too bad for me because I made a take-order yesterday when we visited the Versailles palace. My kids were tired from the palace tour and don't want to walk further outside the palace ground. So i decided to get a quick grab and order from Sushi Royal since it's a 7-minute walk. But they were happy and delighted with my food order when they saw all of it. We loved the miso soup and picked veggies freebies. I am sorry that I was not able to take pictures as we were busy with our meal. Staff were great as well. I can see other Asian tourist customers that they were happy with their dine-in meal order...

Great tasting Japanese food right at downtown Versailles. Ordered Salmon Chirashi which is raw salmon on top of sushi rice. It came with fresh salad and tasty miso soup. My wife ordered Sautéed Vegetables that came with the same sides. We also shared a huge Crunchy Shrimp Tempura Sushi that was made perfectly. Price point is makes sense based on quality and quantity of food.

Service is excellent. It seemed that it's a family owned restaurant. They accomodated the very little French we spoke. Food came out fast.

They have options for both indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor spots are on the other side of the street up a flight of stairs. Good spot people walking their...

Great place! Food is excellent and they take the “ticket restaurant”. Price is good and they have a great outdoor patio where you can relax and get some shade under some beautiful trees. I will definitely come back with my friends or family. If you are visiting the castle you should definitely stop by this sushi place. I didn’t go to the inside of the restaurant though. First impression is pretty good.

Update: I still think the food is good but I went there and wanted to pay with one 10 euros “ticket restaurant” and they didn’t want me to pay the rest with my credit card (5 euros). Dude we are in 2020! Get over it. I don’t know if I will come back ... super...
