✨TO ALL TOURISTS THAT SPEAK ENGLISH ✨ Welcome to Karen diner, Georgian edition As soon as me and my husband walked in, a waiter looked at us with a pure disgust, so we thought she just had a bad day and we sat down to order some food. This place had so many reviews and recommended as a good khinkali place. Then another waiter came to us to take our order but as soon aa she heard we speak English she also looked at us with disgust and said “ew, you speak English” in russian. Then another waiter came to us poorly speaking english and finally took our order. It took 20 minutes for them to get us our food. The looks we got from all three waiters were so “warm welcoming”, loved the discrimination there, if you don’t speak at least russian then you are not welcomed there :D The food was decent but not worth the bad experience and feeling uncomfortable there. Had to wait a long time for the bill and kept buzzing a button to get the bill and asking for assistance and the rude waiter again pressed it very rudely like we were not doing that already for 10 minutes!!! Btw, Khinkali had too much dough and not so much meat, khachapuri was okay, the interior looks dark and old, some people might like it. Thank you for such cold and racist welcome 😊 Will never comeback, even...

😔 A bit of a letdown this time around.
🍽️ Portions have noticeably shrunk — the hearty satisfaction that once defined this spot feels like a distant memory.
💸 Prices have gone up, and unfortunately, the experience no longer matches the cost.
🌴 With tourist season in full swing, there’s a sense that quality may be taking a back seat to volume.
⌛ For now, I’d hold off. Let the summer rush pass — and hopefully, the restaurant returns to its original charm when things calm down.
💬 Once a favorite, but this season... not quite.
04.10.24 update: Don't want to let the score. Will give another chance 40+ minutes to get my mushrooms, and only when I came to the kitchen Fully melted.... Before: Nice and friendly service Good location The menu is just enough to choose from with all Georgian delicatessen in Home some is really nice Tasty chicken kebab and lobio (beans) Next time I have to try khinkaly - local best I hope Reasonable prices ❗Recommend visiting and enjoying food, service, and...
Read moreKhinkali were good. Not the best I’ve ever had but they are top 3 in Georgia in my experience so far. Horrible atmosphere, people coming in and out screaming, babies screaming. If you like screaming you should come here. Other tables come and bother you to move to different tables so they can sit where they prefer. Horrible lighting and horrible music. Waited 10 minutes to come into the restaurant, waited 20 minutes for our salads and then waited another 40 minutes for Khinkali. Lights in the whole restaurant went off as food arrived and that was probably the nicest experience, which sadly lasted only 5 minutes. It was much more peaceful and calm in the darkness. I am here in summer time so take that with a...
